Much of the US east of the Rockies is experiencing record cold today, including where I live in Boulder, Colorado. But on this date in 1930 the central portion of the country was over 110 degrees.

Over the past century, the likelihood of 100 degree weather on August 3rd has plummeted.

The average maximum temperature has declined.

Almost one station out of five set their August 3 record maximum in 1930.

Record minimums peaked in 1976, but we may come close to that today.

Climate experts say heatwaves are getting worse, because they are paid to lie about the climate and push the global warming scam for charlatans like Al Gore.

Tomorrow is going to come close to being record August 3 cold in Boulder.  Our hottest August 3 was a century ago – in 1917.

The New York Times was more conservative, and said the Arctic wouldn’t be ice-free until 2013.

Since they made those predictions in 2007, August 1 Arctic sea ice extent has increased by almost 10%. The trend is up since 2006.

The 2007 predictions didn’t work out too well, so they changed it from screaming to death spiral, and changed the ice-free date to 2015.

There is actually about the same amount of Arctic sea ice as there was in 1971.

Scientists also announced in 2007 that Greenland had lost 19 billion tons of ice, causing the Arctic to scream.

Ten years later, Greenland has gained an extra 100 billion tons of ice.

Government climate experts have no idea what they are talking about, but that doesn’t stop them from spreading the fraudulent message they are paid to deliver.

Experts say that 2016 was the hottest year ever™.

During July and August last year, maximum temperatures at Oklahoma City averaged 13 degrees cooler in 2016 than they did in 1936. Every day except one was cooler than 1936.

August 2nd afternoon temperatures have plummeted in the US since 1930.

However, minimum temperatures have increased, mostly since 1990.

This is likely due to UHI effects including asphalt, irrigation and air conditioning. When I ride my bicycle out of open space and into a neighborhood on a still summer night, I immediately notice a sharp increase in temperature.
