Climate scientists love to start graphs in 1979, so in compliance with their standard bad practices, I generated this graph.

The last spring snow in Boulder falls about a month later now than it did in 1979. This means that springs are getting colder in Boulder, and springtime precipitation is falling as snow rather than rain.

Climate experts of course ignore all actual data, and instead write papers which bring funding in. They say we have declining spring snow cover and a shortage of water in the west.

Never mind that we have record spring snowpack in the west.

As recently as 20 minutes ago, fake news stories continue to appear that the Arctic is hot and sea ice is at a record low.

Actual data shows that Arctic temperatures are far below normal, sea ice is normal, and extent is about 800,000 km² higher than last year.

Ninety-seven percent of local climate experts and government officials say that the Valmont Power Plant is to blame for the overheated atmosphere, and that it must be replaced by 200 giant bird choppers. They also say that destroying the South Boulder wetlands is essential to stop all this overheating.

None of these animals will mind having their habitat destroyed, in order to let Boulder City officials virtue signal they are serious about stopping imaginary global warming with meaningless, destructive token actions that would have no impact even if the fake climate models were correct.

Activities in progressive Boulder today include a CU tennis tournament in the snow at the South Boulder wetlands which they want to destroy, and daily global warming propaganda in the snow at NCAR.
