In 1978, NOAA showed 0.6 degrees global cooling since 1975 at the surface and in balloon data. The cooling was present in both hemispheres.

The National Academy of Sciences knew about this cooling in 1975.

This cooling was seen in the vast majority of US stations and is still present in the untampered US data.

But for some reason, the cooling has disappeared from NASA data.

NASA used to show the cooling, but have since made it disappear.

Over the last 16 years, satellite and radiosonde data show cooling, which NASA has also erased.

In 1989, Tom Karl at NOAA reported that almost all global warming occurred before 1919, and that Earth cooled from 1921 to 1979.

The current crop of NOAA criminals have since erased most of the Northern Hemisphere cooling, and created fake southern hemisphere trends from inadequate data.

One place where this cooling was particularly evident was in Georgia, where many stations reported a huge decline in temperatures after 1950.

During the record hot and dry summer of 2011 in Texas, Katharine Hayhoe determined that it was the new normal, and that the number of 100 degree days was going to go through the roof.

No End in Sight for Texas Drought

In fact, the exact opposite is happening. The number of 100 degree days in Lubbock has been declining since the 1930s.

The average summer maximum temperature has also been declining.

And summer precipitation  has been increasing.

Katharine Hayhoe cherry picked a single outlier, and declared it to be a trend. Junk science doesn’t get any worse than that.
