The 17% Consensus

When Al Gore was elected vice-president in 1992, only 17% of climate scientists accepted his junk science, and everyone accepted the Medieval Warm period.

This did not make fraudster Al Gore happy, so he fixed it by cutting off funding for skeptics like Bill Gray. Gore’s creative use of funding made the Medieval Warm Period disappear, and created the 97% consensus.

IPCC Third Assessment Report – Climate Change 2001

Last night Hillary said the only reason skeptics believe what they believe, is because the Koch Brothers are paying us and tell us what he have to say.

Thanks, ren, for reminding us of the reality that religious and political tyrants attempt to hide from the public:

      1. Reality/Truth/God is indelibly recorded in exact rest masses of the 3,000 types of atoms that compromise all matter:

It might be helpful to come up with some systematic way of changing the case of letters perhaps based on date, because if you accidentally re-use a pattern too soon, you will get the stale cached copy.

        • RAH says:

What I don’t get is why they can’t or won’t fix it! If you can’t post the current image and it is not damaging in any way then something isn’t working right.

        • Neal S says:

For reasons that make sense to them, whenever you post an image inline in comments here at wordpress, they first check if anyone had referred to that image before. If not they then take a snapshot of it, save it on their site, and refer to that. So subsequent references to the same URL will wind up going to the original snapshot they took.

The URL comparison is case sensitive. But the first portion of any URL which winds up being mapped through DNS is NOT case sensitive yet. This is why the trick of uppercasing some characters of the initial part of the URL works to make wordpress think that particular URL had not been referred to previously.

In some cases this could actually be a good thing, if someone tries to delete an image that you referred to, and you want to be able to see the original. By their making a copy, deletion of the original will not affect being able to see it here.

While it may be an annoyance, it is easy to work around, and in some cases it can work to our benefit.

Oliver, I read your papers on a previous post Straight forward.
I will get to you with a few questions as you suggested.

        • ren says:

          Oliver.
“10. The Second Law of Thermodynamics only applies to Closed Systems
          The reason why our universe remains ordered (can evolve complexity) is because it is part of an infinite perpetual system of waves within infinite space. The second law of thermodynamics only applies to closed systems (not infinite systems), as Lerner clearly explains;

Boltzmann propounded a new concept with profound cosmological implications. The universe as a whole, must, like any closed system tend toward an equilibrious state of entropy: it will be completely homogeneous, the same temperature everywhere, the stars will cool, their life-giving energy flow will cease. The universe will suffer a ‘heat death’. Any closed system must thus go from an ordered to a less ordered state – the opposite of progress.
The tendency toward equilibrium is supposed to hold only in ‘closed systems’ and because the earth is heated by the sun, it is not a closed system. The universe we observe is simply not decaying; the generalization of ‘the law of increasing disorder’ to the entire cosmos is unsupported by observation. (Lerner, 1991)”

        • Oliver K. Manuel says:

Thanks, darrylb. From my own experiences on the journey of life, I am convinced false pride and blind arrogance separated world leaders from the reality of

          1. Living inside a pulsar-centered solar system
          2. On a beautiful planet, linked magnetically to
          3. The pulsar that made and sustains every atom
          4. Bathed in a discharge of solar-wind hydrogen, . . .

A miniature version of the now expanding universe, powered by neutron-repulsion in the core that causes

          _ a.) Neutron-emission, followed by
          _ b.) Neutron-decay to hydrogen, and
_ c.) Discharge to interstellar space, with

a net volume increase per particle of 10^39 as compacted neutrons in cores of galaxies and stars become interstellar atoms of hydrogen.

        • Oliver K. Manuel says:

          ren,

The universe consists of two forms of one fundamental particle [compacted and expanded electron-proton pairs] and is dynamic because powerful short-range neutron repulsion is opposed by weak, long-range gravitational attraction.

The universe expands and entropy increases as neutron-repulsion drives the conversion of compacted neutrons into interstellar hydrogen atoms.

Then the universe will contract as gravitational attraction reverses the expansion process and entropy will decrease as hydrogen => neutrons for the next cosmic breath.

        • Oliver K. Manuel says:

          ren,

Almost everyone, including Boltzmann and Lerner, did not consider the implications of

          1. Powerful, short-range neutron repulsion versus

          2. Weak, long-range gravitational attraction

That is the mechanism that makes the universe dynamic and alive rather than dead and lifeless.

  3. Maybe we should find out who is paying Hillary so we know who she is paid to believe.

  4. Steve Case says:

    So where’s my check?

  5. Glacierman says:

“This did not make fraudster Al Gore happy”……or any money.

  6. darrylb says:

Mikey’s climate trick. I trust it will go down in textbooks and elsewhere as an example of pseudo
    and contrived science.

You have to give it to the alarmists, they really put the con in consensus.

  8. DD More says:

A poll in 2001 just after the election questioned “who and how much you believe”
Algore rated 13 percent who “Believed all or most” of what he said.

Thereby proving the old quote – “you can fool some of the people all of the time”

    • Beale says:

One of James Thurbers’s Fables for Our Time had the moral “You can fool too many of the people too much of the time”.
