The fateful year has arrived, so I have plotted my projection for the final death spiral – which will lead to an ice-free Arctic on July 9, 2015 at approximately 6:23 am.

The last really hot summer in the US was 1988, the summer when Hansen sabotaged the air conditioner at the US Capitol Building – so that he could scare Americans into believing they were about to overheat.

Believe it or not, we called the Weather Bureau and found out what historically was the hottest day of the summer.

So that the air conditioning wasn’t working inside the room and so when the, when the hearing occurred there was not only bliss, which is television cameras in double figures, but it was really hot. …  So Hansen’s giving this testimony, you’ve got these television cameras back there heating up the room, and the air conditioning in the room didn’t appear to work. So it was sort of a perfect collection of events that happened that day, with the wonderful Jim Hansen, who was wiping his brow at the witness table and giving this remarkable testimony. …

This past summer (2014) was by at least one metric the coolest on record in the US. Climate alarmists worship Hansen – for sticking to his guns no matter how incompetent his science is.

In 1986, Hansen said the US had warmed 1-2 degrees since 1958, and would warm 4-6 degrees by 2020.

But in 1999, he said there had been no US warming since 1958

in the U.S. there has been little temperature change in the past 50 years, the time of rapidly increasing greenhouse gases — in fact, there was a slight cooling throughout much of the country (Figure 2).

Hansen is a progressive hero, because he just makes numbers up as he goes along – to suit their agenda.

In Obama’s Orwellian world, up is down, an essential component of life is pollution, and illegal executive actions which trash the Constitution are for the good of the American people.

California is the globe.

Obviously whatever California is trying to do is not working for them. Being a total failure and shooting themselves in the foot in the process, makes them a leader in the eyes of progressives.

Next winter, when El Nino is flooding California, the geniuses at the Guardian will no doubt blame the floods on global warming too.

It would be difficult to pack this much stupid into one paragraph, but Fox News has succeeded.

1. Obama is not the US.
2. The president can not enter a treaty without the advice and consent of the Senate, and  a two thirds majority.
3. The photograph is H2O, not CO2
4. Obama’s attempt to cripple the US economy will have little or no impact on CO2 emissions. China will generate 4X as much CO2 as the US in 15 years.

Fox News is supposed to be the “conservative” news station? What  a farce.

The Washington Post is claiming that a one hour long downslope warming event at one location in Antarctica is evidence of global warming.

At 6 am on March 24, Esperanza Station had strong westerly downslope winds which raised the temperature for an hour. By noon, temperatures had dropped and by mid-afternoon were back to freezing.

How anyone could be dense enough to believe this has anything to do with global warming, defies explanation.

Need another indicator of climate warming in Antarctica? The trio of weather bloggers at Weather Underground report the temperature there likely hit a record-breaking 63.5F (17.5C) Tuesday.

The balmy reading was logged at Argentina’s Esperanza Base, which lies on the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Irrespective of whether the record stands, it fits right into the pattern of rapid climate warming recently observed in the Antarctic Peninsula region. The British Antarctic Survey writes this region has warmed about 5F (2.8 C) in the last 50 years. “[This] makes this the most rapidly warming region in the Southern Hemisphere – comparable to rapidly warming regions of the Arctic,” it notes.

The level of deceit from alarmists is approaching infinity. They pick a one day reading at one location as proof of continental warming, in defiance of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

US tornado deaths peaked 90 years ago in 1925, the year the Tri-State tornado destroyed many towns in Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri. Since then, tornado deaths have plummeted to record lows.

Government experts say that weather is getting more extreme in the US, because their job is to promote the White House agenda – regardless of any actual facts.
