There has been no long term change in Northeast US winter temperatures, and parts of the Northeast just had their snowiest winter on record.

There is absolutely no indication that it has any correlation with CO2. Manhattan tide gauges showed the same rate of change in the middle of the 19th century.

Ted Cruz made a 100% accurate statement. Satellites show no warming for over 17 years, and models are wrong.

Cruz responded, “My view actually is simple. Debates on this should follow science and should follow data. Many of the alarmists on global warming, they’ve got a problem because the science doesn’t back them up. In particular, satellite data demonstrate for the last 17 years, there’s been zero warming. None whatsoever. It’s why — you remember how it used to be called ‘global warming’ and then magically the theory changed to ‘climate change’? The reason is it wasn’t warming, but the computer models still say it is, except the satellites show it’s not.”

So how did PolitiLies respond?

Cruz’s statement contains an element of truth but ignores critical facts that would give a different impression, so we rate it Mostly False.

They presented no evidence that anything Cruz said was false, and based their judgment on the future predictions from the same people who made the original mispredictions. They use only climate alarmists as their references. That is propaganda with a pre-determined outcome, not journalism.

Their argument is based on the circular logic that the failed models from the past predict warming in the future. Using that logic, alarmists always win – as long as they continue to lie about the future.

I lived in Longmont, CO for ten years. So far this week they have had two women attacked with knives, and a third had her fetus cut out.

Two women severely injured in separate stabbing attacks this week continue to recover at Longmont United Hospital this morning.

Longmont police Cmdr. Jeff Satur went to the hospital this morning to speak to Michelle Wilkins and Gloria Martinez, and check on their condition.

In a 911 recording released by Longmont police today, a 26-year-old pregnant woman whose baby was reportedly “removed” from her womb can be heard saying that the suspect, Dynel Lane, had cut her with a knife.

In the recording, the woman — whose name has not been released — can be heard groggily talking to dispatchers. The woman told the dispatcher, “She cut me” in the stomach, and then tells the dispatcher, “I’m pregnant.”

The Boulder County District Attorney is not pressing murder charges against the assailant, because progressives do not believe that babies are human. They do believe that 0.0004 mole fraction of an essential trace gas is the biggest threat mankind has ever faced..

Progressives also are thrilled that the victims were not armed, and were unable to defend themselves.

The Danish Meteorological Institute shows that Arctic ice extent is higher than 2006.

The animation below compares maps from 2006 and 2015. There is substantially more ice than 2006.  Note that the University of Illinois changed their eye-altitude since 2006, due to an error I found in their maps in 2008. This causes some distortion, but I lined the maps up as closely as possible.
