Besides the fact that they don’t present any evidence tying greenhouse gases to Arctic ice extent, their graph of historical data doesn’t match the historical record. NSIDC shows very little ice loss prior to 1940, but scientists at the time reported that the ice had lost one third of its area and half its thickness. Obviously this loss was not due to rising greenhouse gases, making NSIDC’s bogus graph even more misleading.

They can’t explain the pre-1940 warming and ice loss, and don’t even acknowledge that it happened. Junk science at its worst.  NASA gave them a boost in this propaganda effort by making the 1940 Arctic warmth disappear.

As of 1999. GISS showed no net warming from the 1870s through the 1970s, and that 1877 was the warmest year during that century.

But the GISS data didn’t look much like a hockey stick, so Hansen simply got rid of all the warm pre-1880 years, and cooled all the remaining pre-1960 years. The image below shows what the original hockey stick would have looked like had Hansen not hacked the GISS database.

The only way that Steve Goddard’s evidence of data tampering could be correct, is if there was a giant conspiracy of all the world’s scientists.

Therefore Goddard must be just one of the thousands of Koch Brothers funded conspiracy nuts.

As responsible citizens of the planet, North Korea keeps their carbon footprint very low. This keeps their river frozen, so that starving North Koreans can walk across the river and eat people in China. Greens hope to lower our carbon footprint to North Korean levels.
