My blog has had far more page views than healthcare.gov, with almost no glitches. WordPress handles volumes hundreds or thousands of times larger than the $600,000,000 Obamacare web site, without a hitch.

And Obama wants you to trust his historically incompetent administration with your health and well being. He views the 7 billion other people on Earth as being toys put here to boost his fragile ego.

Obama has loaded up his entire cabinet with global warming morons, just as the global warming scam collapses. His legacy is that he will be remembered as the worst president in history, and probably much worse than that.

Climate change: Here and now at national parks

Jarvis has made it clear as head of the federal agency there is no higher priority than climate change on his agenda.

Everything is different, he told his staff at a meeting on his first day. From now on, the single most important issue facing the National Park Service is, and will forever be in your lifetimes, climate change.

At Mount Rainier National Park in Washington state, one of the oldest national parks in the U.S., operations for more than a century were built upon a predictable weather pattern.

Heavy snows would begin to fall in autumn. The snow would grow thicker through winter until it packed 25 feet deep.

In the spring, rain would replace the snow, and the snow pack would act like a giant sponge, soaking up all the water until the warm summer months would melt them all and fuel the rivers below.

But by the time current National Park Service Director Jon Jarvis was appointed superintendent of Mount Rainier National Park in 1999, things had started to change.

The rain wouldn’t wait its turn, falling early in autumn when the snow pack was only a few feet thick. The snow couldn’t handle or hold the sudden soaking. Floods became a problem.

Then, in November 2006, devastation struck. A slow-moving weather system called the “Pineapple Express” hovered over the state. In less than 36 hours, 18 inches of rain fell on the mountain.

The resulting flood was devastating. It washed out roads, knocked out power, took out campgrounds. One campsite called Sunshine Point had been there for a century, but the flood scoured it down to the bedrock. The park closed to the public for seven months.

The National Park Service already was well aware that things were changing worldwide, not just in their parks. Glaciers were receding. Wildfires were burning longer and hotter. Vegetation was growing at altitudes unheard of before. And, yes, temperatures were getting warmer.

There is nothing the National Parks can do to affect the climate, and the entire basis of his belief system is superstition and ignorance. Mt Rainier has always had autumn floods. Jarvis is a true believer – with an empty head.

Management at one 40-employee Michigan car dealership has been bracing for higher health insurance costs in 2014, when the Affordable Care Act goes into full effect.

But they were shocked to hear this month just how high their renewal rate with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan would jump — 65%. Add in the new taxes and fees in the health care law that affect businesses, and the total cost for the dealership of providing medical benefits would rise another 5%.

Since learning of these increases, Extreme Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Jackson has debated whether it can afford to continue offering health care to employees, said Mark Trudell, the dealership’s general manager.

MARTIN: But Dr. Carson, how is the government, how’s the government controlling people’s health when you talk about providing health care. Actually aren’t individuals in control of their health in terms of wellness, in terms of how they take care of themselves?

Because the reality is we have a system in America that says that county hospitals – look, I cover county government, and I had to deal with this – county hospitals must see anybody who comes through that door. And one of the things that we have seen in this country: dramatic increases in terms of the budget, in terms of the budget gaps because of exploding healthcare costs. And so we are paying higher property taxes and higher sales taxes as it relates to our county hospitals. And so we’ve been funding a national healthcare system, and it hasn’t been working. So how is this somehow controlling people’s health?

The animation below shows their little problem. It alternates between the blue error map, and their current trend map. In their claimed high sea level rise areas, the error is almost as big as the trend – in some places it is greater than the trend.

To make matters worse, the claimed global trend of 3 mm/year is heavily weighted by the large numbers – which are the least reliable. Satellite sea level is the basis for alarmists fraudulent claims that sea level rise rates have increased since 1992, something which tide gauges show no evidence of.
