I captured this Envisat map on May 16, 2011 – before adjustments and tampering. It shows almost identical areas of rising sea level and falling sea level.
The next map flattens out regions of rising and falling sea level as either red or blue. The area of red and blue on the map is very similar, indicating that the area of the ocean where sea level is falling is similar to the area where sea level is rising.
The graph below overlays the pre-tampering Envisat sea level data (green) on the post-tampering data (red.)
This tampering was done during the last two days of the satellite’s existence, in order to bring sea level rise rates up to a politically correct value. Unfortunately, the artists in charge made a couple of critical errors. They lowered base sea level by exactly one cm, and failed to get the peaks to line up with the untampered data, in their Ministry of Truth cartoon.

But it is much worse than it seems. The original unadjusted and untampered data showed almost no sea level rise at all.
Like the rest of the global warming scam, the sea level scam is nothing but bullshit.

I located a 2007 version of the CU sea level error map, and its corresponding trend map.
Note the region north of New Guinea where the trend is 9 mm/year and the error is also 9 mm/year. This region severely skews the global numbers upwards. In other words, their 3mm/year trend claim is completely meaningless scientifically.
Even worse is that they have taken the error map off their web site. Their fake 3 mm/year serves as the basis for many fraudulent claims by scientists that sea level rise rates have increased.
The most sophisticated satellite (ENVISAT) used to show 0.5 mm/year, before they quadrupled the numbers overnight , and then immediately euthanized the satellite.
The University of Colorado used to have this error map on their sea level web site, which showed that most of their fake 3 mm/year sea level rise is due to error.

Here is their current sea level map. Note that their data is severely skewed by a region north of Australia, where their error is almost as great as their claimed trend.
The global satellite sea level graphs claiming 3 mm/year are complete bullshit, and would be thrown out of any engineering project. But this is government science and the government needs some basis to claim that sea level rise rates have increased.

Democrats win House, promise new direction
POSTED: 6:05 p.m. EST, November 8, 2006(CNN) — Democrats promised Wednesday to lead the country in a new direction after winning control of the House for the first time in 12 years in midterm elections.
By early Wednesday, Democrats had picked up at least 29 seats; they needed 15 to capture a majority in the House. Two Democratic seats in Georgia that were targeted by Republicans remained too close to call.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-California, is now poised to become the first female speaker of the House.
Pelosi promised to lead the nation in a new direction “in partnership, not in partisanship.”
