Proposal To Reduce Crime

If a 7pm curfew was put in place and anyone seen outside of their house shot on sight, the crime rate would drop dramatically.

You can always make the world safer by reducing freedom.

Government’s apparent goal is to make the world safe for gay transgender progressive minority couples, who fervently believe that global warming will kill us all.

Some Congressman will always invoke the memory of 9/11 as a reason to continue dismantling the Bill of Rights.

Fox News : Missing South Carolina Sea Ice Stranding Baby Seals

Harp seals mate and rear their young on the sea ice off the east coast of Canada in the spring and move north as the weather warms. But increasing numbers of seals are ending up stranded along the U.S. East Coast, as far south as the Carolinas, far away from where they should be at this time of year.

They start out in Canada and move north to the Carolinas.

As ice levels in the North Atlantic have declined, the number of seals that have wound up on beaches, either dead or in poor health, has increased, new research shows.

Maybe The Rules Haven’t Changed After All

Summer cyclone chewing up Canada’s Arctic sea ice

Ice coverage is slightly about last year’s record low but still well below the 30-year average.

Ice coverage is well above last year

Back when the sea was thick and lasted for years, cyclones tended to spread the ice out and actually increase its extent, said Julienne Stroeve of the National Snow and Ice Data Center in Boulder, Colo. Now, when ice gets spread out, it simply breaks up and disappears.

The ice is spreading out and the extent is increasing, exactly as it did in years past.

“As our ice cover has thinned, some of our old rules are changing,” said Stroeve.

No they aren’t. Ice extent just took a large jump up and ice now fills most of the Beaufort Sea.

Incompetence : The New Normal For Climate Scientists

Check out this garbage :

Last year, a particularly powerful cyclone is thought to have wiped out 800,000 square kilometres of ice. That contributed to record low sea-ice levels at the end of the 2012 melt year.

This year’s storm over the Beaufort Sea formed about mid-week and is expected to die out on the weekend.

It isn’t as strong as last year’s, but the ice is thinner and weaker. As well, the ice has already been pummelled by earlier storms.

“The effects of (the storm) are nowhere near what we saw last August,” said Asplin. “But because the ice is thinner and it’s already been pre-conditioned, and because there’s less volume, it’s much more vulnerable to impacts from this sort of thing.”

What a load of crap. The image below shows what the ice looked like right before last year’s storm hit on August 3. Beaufort Sea ice was nearly gone.

Compare with the start of the storm this year – there is a lot more ice this year than last.

ScreenHunter_208 Jul. 26 00.03

But it is worse than it seems. This year the storm is headed three metre thick ice.

Arctic Alarmists Move On To New Hysteria

They started the year with “it’s all thin and rotten and all going to melt” Then they moved on to “the multi-year ice along the Canadian coast has failed” Next came “an unprecedented hole in the ice near the North Pole” And this week it is “a lake has appeared on the ice at the North Pole

These climochondriac morons can’t even stick with the same hysteria for more than a couple of weeks.

Anyone Who Disagrees With Obama Is A Security Threat

President Obama was bound to receive a warm response from the audience attending his speech at the University of Central Missouri yesterday — because some students who disagreed with him weren’t allowed into the building.

Christopher White of The College Fix reports that students wearing “Tea Party T-Shirts and others who wore patriotic or Republican-inspired clothing” were turned away at the door under the guise of security concerns, despite the fact that they held tickets to the event.

I’d like to offer a helpful tip to all College Republicans who hope to attend an Obama speech in the future: Odds of admission improve if you wear a Che Guevara t-shirt, an “I Heart Kim Jong Un” campaign button, and/or a ballcap displaying the slogan “Obama Girl” prominently above the brim.
