Global warming appears to have slowed lately. That’s no reason to celebrate.

NSIDC likes to pretend that there is no satellite data for Arctic ice prior to 1979.

This makes for scary graphs showing disappearing Arctic ice, which are highly misleading.

The 1990 IPCC report had satellite data going back much earlier than 1979, which showed that Arctic peaked in that year, and was much lower in 1974.

If NSIDC used all of the available data, their scary story wouldn’t look so scary. Starting their graphs during the peak ice year is pretty dodgy.

NASA reported last year that 97% of the Greenland ice sheet melted. You can see the before and after pictures here :

Next picture is June 14, 2013 – a year after the catastrophic meltdown.  Note how there is an additional three metres of snow now.

Trenberth claims that the missing heat has sunk to the bottom of the ocean. This defies basic physics and common sense.

Any place where surface water is more than 5C, the density decreases as the temperature warms. Heating the surface of the ocean will not make the water sink.

The only place where warm water sinks below cold water is at the surface near the poles. At one bar, 5C water is more dense than 0C water. However at 100 bars, the density of 0C water is highest.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ordered additional security for the U.S. mission in Benghaziahead of the terrorist attack but the orders were never carried out, according to “legal counsel” to Clinton who spoke to best-selling author Ed Klein. Those same sources also say former President Bill Clinton has been “urging” his wife to release official State Department documents that prove she called for additional security at the compound in Libya, which would almost certainly result in President Obama losing the election.

Obama has admitted today that the decision to send weapons to Islamist terrorists in Syria had nothing to do with chemical weapons usage. Check out this BS in the Washington Post

The White House said the final push came this week after U.S. intelligence agencies concluded with “high certainty” that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s forces had used chemical weapons against the rebels.

But U.S. officials said that the determination to send weapons had been made weeks ago and that the chemical weapons finding provided fresh justification to act.

In other words, Obama had already made the decision to send weapons to Islamic terrorists weeks ago, but he needed some cover. He also forgot to mention that it was actually the rebels using the chemical weapons.

These dire deficiencies in global warming symptoms have caused the global warming canary to fly the coop.

There is a lot more ice in the Arctic than there was on this date last year. Green shows ice present in 2013, which was not present in 2012. Red shows the opposite.

Arctic temperatures have been below normal and running about 10 days late.
