The MSM is trying to set up the next presidential election to be Clinton vs. Bush, in an apparent IQ test for the American people.

Meanwhile, 1.5 million deceased voters in Ohio want Obama to have a third term.

Today is six months since the Sandy Hook shooting, and Obama has not lifted a finger to improve school security, or remove illegal guns from city streets.

Instead, he focused all of his energy on disarming law-abiding Americans, and sending guns to Islamic terrorists.

He says that terrorists need the guns to protect themselves from tyranny, but law-abiding Americans should not be allowed to own guns.

Obama also says that the only purpose for self-reloading rifles is to kill lots of people, and has distributed 7,000 of them to DHS agents for personal defense.

Heat Waves “Almost Certainly” Due to Global Warming?

Hansen wrote the exact opposite in 1999.

Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought. The drought of 1999 covered a smaller area than the 1988 drought, when the Mississippi almost dried up. And 1988 was a temporary inconvenience as compared with repeated droughts during the 1930s “Dust Bowl” that caused an exodus from the prairies, as chronicled in Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath…..

Heat waves occurred with high frequency in the 1930s, and these remain the most severe heat waves in the U.S. historical record (see Figure 1). Many years of intense drought (the “Dust Bowl”) contributed to these heat waves by depleting soil moisture and reducing the moderating effects of evaporation.

Note how NOAA cleverly truncated the left side at 1950 (among other abuses.)

Below I tacked on the 1975 National Academy of Sciences Northern hemisphere graph from 1975, at the same scale. Current temperatures are no warmer than 1940.

Also note how NOAA has massively cooled pre-1960 temperatures, in their graph.
