There has only been 0.2C warming since 1960. This is not unprecedented, and whatever caused temperatures to start rising in 1860 had nothing to do with your SUV.
The long term trend indicates that temperatures are rising about one tenth as fast as climate alarmists claim.
The Middle East has been in continuous war for about 5,000 years. It could have all been avoided by a carbon tax.

If he actually did a “Vulcan Mind Meld” he would probably find out that most Americans don’t want him to bankrupt the country and destroy the Bill of Rights.
While Bill Clinton was president, Democrats were so worried about Iraqi WMDs that they starved half a million Iraqi children to death through sanctions.
Then as soon as Bush showed up, Democrats screamed that Iraq didn’t have any WMDs. Apparently they need to be tried as war criminals – for starving half a million children over something they didn’t believe actually existed.

The story is that global warming heated up SSTs around the US, causing Sandy. This is why almost the entire US coast is surrounded below normal sea surface temperatures.
Whatever the problem is, Obama’s solution is to take things away from the American people.
Budget cutbacks? Take away whatever hurts the American people most.
Take away their guns, their Bill of Rights, their car, their coal, make them turn the thermostat down and tell them what and how much they are allowed to eat.
Reagan’s core philosophy was growth and freedom. Obama’s core philosophy is to take control away from the peasants, and put himself control of everything
When he said “bitter people who cling to guns and religion” it was pretty obvious where he was coming from. The only reason to cling to anything is because someone is trying to take it away from you. That person is Barack Obama.
Another federal employee has come forward to claim the Obama administration resisted efforts to ease the impact of sequester.
A U.S. park ranger, who did not wish to be identified, told FoxNews.com that supervisors within the National Park Service overruled plans to deal with the budget cuts in a way that would have had minimal impact on the public. Instead, the source said, park staff were told to cancel special events and cut “interpretation services” — the talks, tours and other education services provided by local park rangers.
“Apparently, they want the public to feel the pain,” the ranger said.

We dared to cut off dear leader’s weekly golfing vacations, and it is payback time now for the peasants. Obama thinks the whole world revolves around him, and everyone else is just cannon fodder.
This must be what the Washington Post meant by a “charm offensive.”
