EPA To Fine Fairbanks Residents For Not Agreeing To Freeze To Death

It is -40 in Fairbanks, and people are burning wood to keep their family alive. The EPA says this is unhealthy and is planning to fine them.

Fairbanks has chronic winter air pollution problems from widespread use of wood- and oil-burning stoves. The city has been experiencing unusually cold November weather, with temperatures dropping into the minus-30s overnight.

The EPA says this about the issue: “The size of particles is directly linked to their potential for causing health problems.

Health dangers are potentially greater for children, says the EPA, which has ordered the state to clean up Fairbanks air or face financial penalties.

Mass Murderer Upset That His Coffee Is Cold

Anders Behring Breivik gunned down scores of teenagers in a methodical killing rampage last year on the Norwegian island of Utoya, at one point telling fleeing youths, “You’re all going to die.”

Now serving a 21-year prison sentence, Breivik has held forth on the topic of cruelty, weighing in on what he calls “an almost indescribable manifestation of sadism.”

A bendable pen.

“It’s a nightmare of a tool and I get frustrated by using it,” Breivik wrote in a lengthy letter to prison officials, as quoted by the tabloid Verdens Gang (link in Norwegian). The specially designed pen he is given to use — so soft that it cannot be used as a weapon — is “ergonomically malformed” and hurts him so much he cannot write, he complained.

The rubbery pen is just one in a litany of laments from Breivik, confined to three rooms at Ila Prison at a cost of more than $1.2 million annually to Norwegian taxpayers.

His cell is chilly, he wrote, and the light switch is outside, forcing him to wait “up to 40 minutes” after summoning the guards to turn it on. At mealtimes, there isn’t enough butter for the bread and the coffee is cold

Had the teenagers at the camp been properly trained in the use of a rifle, and had a rifle been available – dozens of teenagers would still be alive and this scumbag would be maggot food.

Another Spontaneous YouTube Protest

Suicide attackers detonated bombs and fired rockets outside a major U.S. base in Afghanistan on Sunday, killing five people in a brazen operation that highlighted the country’s security challenges ahead of the 2014 NATO combat troop pullout.

Government By Fake Crisis

A sequence of world ending crises began appearing – about a week after Obama received the 2008 nomination.

  • The world will end unless we give $1 trillion to Obama’s banker friends (TARP)
  • The world will end unless we give $1 trillion to Obama’s campaign supporters (Stimulus)
  • The world will end unless we raise taxes $1.6 trillion (Fiscal Cliff)
  • The world will end unless we destroy the economy to reduce CO2 (Global Warming)

The US makes Shakespearean comedy look like a tragedy.

Washington Post Using IPCC Errors As A Baseline For Propaganda

The 2007 IPCC report was full of mistakes, like the claim that Himalayan Glaciers would be gone by 2035. Another error appears to have been a graph which indicated 2mm/ sea level rise per year

a “best estimate” by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 2007, which projected that by today, the rise would be 2 mm (0.078 inches) per year.

AFP: Seas rising 60% faster than UN forecast: study

If the IPCC did say that, it was an error. The sea level graphs which their numbers are based on showed more than 3.1 mm/year prior to 2007, and a sharp slow down since 2007.

Based on this nonsense, the Washington Post reports :

a group of climate researchers released calculations that indicate the world’s oceans are rising 60 percent faster than the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change anticipated five years ago

sea levels appear to be on track to rise by several feet over the next century, with every inch putting more Americans at risk. Sea-level researchers Robert Kopp and Benjamin Strauss estimate that a five-foot rise would produce Sandy-like floods in New York every 15 years, on average.

Holding back the sea – The Washington Post

An honest statement would be that the train has fallen off the one foot per century track, and that since 2007 sea level is rising 50% slower. The Washington Post is engaging in classic Soviet journalism.

Obama Has More Flexibility Now

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlXK8o70Se0]

Now that election is over, Obama no longer has to worry about the opinions of Americans. Over the last three weeks we have seen the ousting of General Petraeus, collapse of Egypt into an Islamic dictatorship (the day after Obama praised Morsi) war in the Middle East, declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine, mass layoffs – and we are about to see a $1.6 trillion tax hike.

All of this is just a coincidence, no doubt.

Emperor Barack Nero Obama is responding by taking a three week $4 million golfing vacation to Hawaii.

How NCDC Hides The Decline

Bill Illis found this NCDC graph from 1991. It correctly shows that 1934 and 1921 were the two hottest years in the US.

The Odds Of James Hansen Being Competent Are Negligible

Hansen wrote this recently :

We conclude that extreme heat waves, such as that in Texas and Oklahoma in 2011 and Moscow in 2010, were “caused” by global warming, because their likelihood was negligible prior to the recent rapid global warming. We discuss practical implications of this substantial, growing climate change.

US Politics | AMERICAblog News: Quarter to half of species on earth may die from global warming

That is easy enough to put to the test. I counted the number of 40C+ temperature readings in Oklahoma, at all GHCN HCN stations which have been continuously active since at least 1930. It turns out that 2011 was tenth hottest, and had fewer than half as many 40C readings as 1936, 1934 and 1955.

Hansen is either wildly incompetent, a liar, or both. He is counting on the fact that most people have little or no knowledge of history.
