One week ago, greens were bragging about Texas’ dependence on wind power, and said it proved that the Green New Deal worked. 
A few days later, reliance on wind power caused millions of people to lose power in Texas.
Now greens say the opposite of what they said last week, that Texas doesn’t really use much wind power. and that Texas actually relies on fossil fuels. and the problems in Texas were due to a lack of availability of fossil fuel generated power.
Dan Crenshaw explained how reliance on wind power was a catastrophe for Texas, and the only thing that saved them fossil fuels.
Bill Gates says we can heat wind turbines to keep them from freezing, and that we don’t need fossil fuels.
They did this in Scotland in 2010. There was practically no wind and windfarms became net consumers of electricity to power heaters to keep the blades from freezing. Arctic air is normally associated with very light winds.

Scotland had to rely on French nuclear power.
The UK is shutting down about half of their own nuclear power in the next four years, so when the wind stops blowing they have to get power from other countries.
The UK generates about 20% of its electricity from nuclear, but almost half of current capacity is to be retired by 2025.

Experts say we not only are getting fewer Arctic air masses, but we are also getting more of them – due to a warming Arctic and shrinking Arctic sea ice.

The global warming and global cooling Polar Vortex appears to be identical.
These people are engaged in propaganda, not science. And the root of the problem is that the press allows people like Bill Gates to engage in monologue without debate and without rebuttal. Billionaires own the press and social media. When I gave a very detailed presentation of historical New York Times articles to the Washington State Senate four years ago, this is what the press reported.
The world is paying a very high price for this lack of debate.
