NASA says earth was very cold from 1871 to 1932.

This guy says the Arctic autumn is hottest in three million years, so I pointed out that Arctic sea ice growth this month has been fourth highest on record.

Apparently last autumn was more than three million years ago.

Climate Central says all of the region around Bangkok is going to drown by the year 2050, wiping out the homes of 150 million people. And they are having a seminar next week to release their findings.

Then they go on and try to make it sound like they are doing some actual science.

These findings are based on CoastalDEM, a new digital elevation model that uses machine learning methods to correct for systematic errors in the principal elevation dataset previously used for international assessment of coastal flood risks, NASA’s Shuttle Radar Topography Mission.

Now let’s look at what is actually going on. Bangkok is about five meters (5,000 mm) elevation.

NOAA has two tide gauges in Thailand.

One was sinking from 1960 to 2000, and showed a high rate of rise during that time.

But sea level has hardly risen there since the year 2000.

It is at a fort built on a swamp.

The other tide gauge shows almost no sea level rise at all.

At current sea level rise rates, it will take at about 5,000 years for Bangkok to drown. Same amount of time since these artifacts were made.
