USHCN Sets New Record For Adjusting “Raw” Data

USHCN publishes something called “Raw Monthly” temperatures for the US, which isn’t raw at all. The graph below shows the difference between USHCN “raw” temperatures and the actual GHCN HCN raw data which it is based on.

In their efforts to make 2012 look like a record hot year, they have adjusted the “raw” year to date temperatures upwards more than 0.4 degrees above the actual raw temperatures – before they even start doing their official adjustments.

Lying $cumbags. With this being the “hottest year,” the Socialist-In-Chief and his fellow socialists in Congress will have the “justification” to try to force through a carbon tax or cap and trade. Obama could also have his hatchetmen at the EPA pass even more job-killing rules and regulations.

Steve, It is amazing that any kind of “raw” (or what we would call “actual”) temperature data is available from any government source when it contradicts the data from other government sources. Will we always be able to cross check the data and find the “adjustments” or will the real data be hidden until adjusted and then destroyed/replaced in the near future ?
