For years, climate alarmists have been telling us that global warming brings an early spring.
April has been a freakishly cold month across much of the northern USA, bringing misery to millions of sun-starved and winter-weary residents from the Rockies to the Midwest.
“The weather map … looks like something out ofThe Twilight Zone,” Minneapolis meteorologist Paul Douglas of WeatherNation TV wrote on his blog last week.
Record cold and snow has been reported in dozens of cities, with the worst of the chill in the Rockies, upper Midwest and northern Plains. Several baseball games have been snowed out in both Denver and Minneapolis.
Cities such as Rapid City, S.D.; Duluth, Minn.; and Boulder, Colo., have all endured their snowiest month ever recorded. (In all three locations, weather records go back more than 100 years.) In fact, more than 1,100 snowfall records and 3,400 cold records have been set across the nation so far in April,
Here in Colorado, we are expecting another foot of snow tonight and tomorrow.

Very flawed piece. The kind of heating you’re talking about at the thermosphere works out to almost nothing per m^2. A few billion kwh of energy spread over the atmosphere is nothing.
Here in NJ I am still counting the Spring-like days on one hand.
Showers and thunderstorms moved through N MN this morning, and by Wed night into Thurs morning we could see another 6″ of snow on the ground.
Don’t worry, they will very conveniently “forget” that they talked of early spring. They conveniently “forget” every claim proven wrong. They must just hate it when nature doesn’t cooperate.
But I don’t know what Spring is. 😉

Speaking of scammers, Scam Jones befouled St Louis yesterday, and protested against his own success…
“Van Jones, former advisor to President Barack Obama and progressive activist, was arrested outside a federal courthouse Monday during a protest against “Big Coal.”
Jones confirmed his arrest on Twitter and said he “volunteered” to be arrested at the demonstration “supporting miners being ripped off by Big Coal.” Shortly later he announced he was out of jail and “ready for next round.”
