Obama Says That His Brilliant Diplomacy Narrowly Prevented Himself From Starting WWIII

Obama was 45 minutes away from starting WW III, but as a result of his carefully thought through negotiations, he was able to convince himself not to do something incredibly stupid.

His only obstacle to completing the process is the Russians, who kept confusing him by proposing rational and sane solutions.

Strange times when Pitin is the sane one.

Nikita would be proud of him!

Wow, just saw some clips from the speech and this clown will get us into trouble by just making things up as he goes along. What are we to do when Asaad just keeps using conventional weapons to kill tens of thousands more? If we’re trying to save children’s lives, what of those killed by conventional weapons, let alone those killed by US drone strikes elsewhere?

Why not remove another dictator when he piled onto Mubarak and Qaddafi for much lesser acts against their people?

By trying to talk tough about Asaad over a year ago, he’s now having to try to weasel out of the corner he boxed himself into, by boxing himself in further.

It is also comical to try and pretend that Iraq is the reason that people don’t support this, when he’s the one who left that country to fall back into problems just so he could check the box about getting out of Iraq. Places where the US stayed after combat operations have gone on to economic success and stability, such as Japan, Germany, South Korea. While Vietnam as a counter example has only recently started coming out of the agricultural era.

Syria is ugly, but so was Iraq under Sadam and Afghanistan under the Taliban. Yet you’ll not hear Obama say it was good those guys were booted out. Yet somehow Mubarak and Qaddafi going was good because he said so.

I should add that I’m not saying to go into Syria. My point is, the Middle East has always been complicated, so coming into it without any prior leadership experience yet an inflated ego can set bad things in motion.

Obama shot himself in the foot.

He made a fool of himself in public, after first making certain the whole world would see.

The USA has even less credibility today.

  4. the arrogance that is Obama..

  5. I think we’ve been in World War III since the end of World War II, and Obama’s great impression of the Enemy Within has brought us back to the era of the Manchurian Candidate and the start of that World War III… Oliver Manuel thinks that’s when science got off track too, but he’s wrong; that goes back to the establishment of Darwinism and the official academic denial of meaning. Only the rise of electronic technology has so far masked the ensuing Fall of Science, in the minds of the deluded multitude. America’s biggest failure today is taking Obama seriously; he and his entire administration should be laughed out of office.
