NCDC Data Tampering Is One Of The Biggest Frauds In Science History

The blue line below shows US temperature averaged at all GHCN HCN stations. The orange line shows the data released to the public by NCDC. They massively cool the past, to create the appearance of a non-existent warming trend. The thermometer data shows that the 1930’s Dust Bowl were much hotter than the present, but that doesn’t fit the agenda.

We are at the 75th anniversary of Steinbeck’s “Grapes of Wrath” which chronicled the mass migration out the plains states, to escape the extreme heat and drought of the 1930’s.

The next graph shows the magnitude of the “adjustments” NCDC is performing. Given the well documented problems with Urban Heat Islands, the adjustments should be going the other way.

James Hansen wrote this in 1999, right before he erased the 1930’s heat.

Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought. The drought of 1999 covered a smaller area than the 1988 drought, when the Mississippi almost dried up. And 1988 was a temporary inconvenience as compared with repeated droughts during the 1930s “Dust Bowl” that caused an exodus from the prairies, as chronicled in Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath.

  1. That’s nice, but the US isn’t part of the globe. You see, globes are spheres & the US isn’t a sphere, so it isn’t part of the globe.

    • Eric Simpson says:

Lol on that funny point, but seriously what we are seeing is a divergence between local and global, and this will spell DOOM for us if we don’t cut CO2 way back! On an individual level people are in fact noticing that it is colder than it was decades ago, but globally we are frying.

And you can’t say that the weather you experience locally is representative of the global climate. So of course the experts have to adjust upwards the local temperatures to reflect the growing global danger. And also the experts must adjust the past temperatures downward because a humdrum chart showing ~ steady temperatures since the ’30s does not reflect the global reality of the runaway out of control hockey stick style warming and the imminent doom that we face. Remember: we are doomed!

    • Aztecbill says:

This hasn’t been done in the US alone. New Zealand had faked data and those in charge when confronted in court claimed to not know why the “official” temperature showed much more warming than was actually recorded by instruments.

Sometime in late 99 perhaps, the order came from on high to make the 30’s go away. Probably direct from the Goracle.

It is horrible but all true. Thanks for your continuing efforts to expose this total outrage.

Another great post Steve. It wouldn’t be a surprising to learn that our US House Representatives don’t have a clue about this fraud. Seems like a bit of oversight is warranted.
