How About Doing Some Actual Science, Mikey?

Instead of spouting mindless BS like Trenberth and Mann do about Boston snow, how about doing some actual science?

Boston has had their driest snow on record this winter

Boston is having one of their coldest winters on record.

Colder winters in Boston have more snow. Warmer winters in Boston have less snow

Mann and Trenberth say that excess moisture caused by global warming has caused the deep snow in Boston. There isn’t one shred of evidence to back that up. There has been no increase in winter precipitation at Boston, and this year doesn’t even rank in the top ten.

It is snowing, because it is cold.

Virtually no net temperature change since the 1930’s and actual cooling since the late 1950’s. How did the global warming rumor get started? Certainly time to pull the plug on it. Has nothing to do with climate and everything to do with worldwide redistribution of wealth, per Karl Marx!

The giveaway to that, besides there being no actual warming, was the
solution proposed by the Economic Alarmist mouthpieces like Ross Garnaut. Global carbon taxes flowing into a carbon credit sinkhole, feeding the banking vampire squid, showed it was all about starting a global taxation system that destroyed the independence of sovereign nation states to feed a one world government. Communist nirvana. This is why I despise the useful idiots and their puppet masters.
They are Destroying individual liberty that was fought for by the USA in the War of Independence and by Australia in WW2.

The lower the temperature, the less dense the falling snow will be.

It’s called powder and skiers love it. Something the NE usually doesn’t get much of but should have gotten a fair amount this year.

I posted this argument with actual stats on Greg Laden’s blog and the response was devoid of any logic. Religion is clearly more blind than justice.

Imagine a doctor prescribes blood thinners because your excess bleeding is due to “thick” blood. You would call him a quack and the AMA would revoke his license.

Yet a climate scientist can claim the dry snow is from warm wet air and these guys get quoted relentlessly across the MSM as further validation of AGW. This should be basic knowledge for somebody that is an expert in climate studies.

Where is the Wilfred Brimley character in Absence of Malice who will start holding these charlatans accountable?

Yes, below zero snow is very thin, hard crystals that easily blow in the wind. Snow falling at freezing or even above freezing (yes, it certainly does!) is wet, dense and on the ground, is like cement.

The thin snow here on my mountain was well over 4 feet deep which is a huge amount for below zero snow. And after melting partially in the sun (below freezing, but melting) it is now like rock. I can’t budge it.

Even small mounds are like boulders.
