My Arctic Forecast

My forecast : The usual mindless hysterics will soon start trumpeting the low Arctic sea ice maximum this year.

What is actually going on is that Arctic ice has returned to the state it was in in 2005/2006, which had the two highest minimums of the last 12 years.

There will be a sharp turn up in the next few days, with northerly winds in the Bering Sea.

I think your post on thickness yesterday will tell part of the tale when the melting does start … but for the true believers everything is evidence of GLO-BULL warming … even record cold and snow. Hopefully lots of sailors, jet skiers and rowers are arctic bound to take advantage of the coming tropical melting season 😉

Just as long as they are required to fork over $$$$ to the rescue types BEFORE they go and pull their fool stunts.

Speaking of melting, Bulgaria and Greece are in a bad way with either 2 meters of snow or flooding.

http://iceagenow.info/ has several of the stories.

No electric, running low on food, several people have died. I doubt we will see word one in the US MSM.

Speaking of melting, Greece and Bulgaria are in a world of hurt with flooding and 2 meters of snow fall. http://iceagenow.info/ has several stories.

Food is running low, no electric and people have been trapped or died. I expect no word in the US MSM though.

  6. Gail Combs says:

Sorry for the double post. Word UnImpressed seemed to have booted the first comment into a snow bank as it did several times last night.

  7. Kelvin Vaughan says:

The cold is moving South as it can’t stand the heat from global warming.

  8. D. Self says:

It will make national news tomorrow.
