Running Through The Alinsky Gambit

Charles Johnson and his pack of trolls spent the day running through the Alinsky playbook on Twitter.

  • Paid industry denier
  • Liar
  • Creationist
  • Won’t read anything not peer-reviewed
  • Not a scientist
  • Electrician
  • Shut up
  • You are destroying the planet
  • Koch shill
  • Heartland shill
  • Tobacco

I challenged his crew of morons to find one single point of dispute and debate me on it. I challenged them to get a favorite scientist to debate me. In 8 hours of trolling they were unable to identify one single climate topic they were willing to challenge.

Then Charles ended with the last refuge of climate scoundrels – calling me a birther for pointing out that Obama’s literary agents were birthers.

There must be some sort of training to make people this stupid.

I’ve given up conversing with the climate trolls. It’s just like Sisyphus – never progressing.
Besides arctic ice, my favourite is bushfires in Australia. Every summer Australian climatastrophists wax hysterical on how the Aussie bushfires are getting worse. Considering we’ve cleared 90%+ of the Australian forests since European Settlement in 1788, straight away that is a stupid comment.
Second – many Australian trees and plants are adapted to and requires fire to germinate.
Third – we’ve had bushfires for tens of thousands of years on this continent. It’s unlikely to change unless we turn it all into “biofuel”. Then we’ll have none.

Well we know you deny the fact that the holocaust happened.
    All deniers do.
While I am at it, I hope you know earth is a (almost) sphere, you will
not fall off it if you far enough!
…..and let me see, I hope you know that President Obama is just laughing
and waiting for an ideal time to take charge, and tell the world

ALL YOU GUYS STOP FIGHTING. I HAVE A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE AND I SAY SO!

Now I can be a friend of the ‘in’ crowd. 🙂

You’re a “birther?” You don’t have a blonde wig and live as a carpetbagger in Chappaqua, NY, do you?

You’re absolutely right. There is “some sort” of training. It’s not from On High, however.

Hubby was reading this comic this morning and it seemed appropriate. Especially the comment from Nabuquduriuzhur

(Do not forget that 1993 is when Al Gore fired Dr. Happer for not putting politics ahead of science.)

Recent “science” is going to go through the meat-grinder. The stuff that goes on today would have gotten me fired when I worked for NOAA, DoD, etc. Altering data, substituting datasets, and so on. When it became science by the activist and science by those without science degrees, it went into the ash can.
    .
Notice that government “scientists” today normally don’t have their credentials listed? It’s because they don’t actually have any. Starting in 1993, it became a race to pack the government as quickly with incompetents beholden to the left as possible. Qualifications were waived. Persons with high school diplomas were made “engineers” and “scientist” and “administrators without a clue about doing the actual job. The complaint usually stated by the men and women who came up under the prior merit system was “I have to do his/her job, too.” with the newcomers. Then, when they retired in the last decade, suddenly very few were left to do the work that actually knew how. It’s an incredible mess.

    .
And yet, according to Scientific American, we have more than 100,000 graduates in engineering and science fields that can’t get work annually. It’s not like we don’t have trained people to do the work. They just don’t get hired.

    WOW, just WOW!

    Surely you’re not a creationist?

  6. Winnipeg Boy says:

Creationist is an interesting topic. Ask your accusers how they feel about GMO and watch them spin yarns of messing with nature. They may as well be reading from the book of Genesis.
As i think about it, the whole ‘great flood’ story the AGW folks preach sounds familiar…

Of course it does. Al the Gorical went to Vanderbilt’s prestigious divinity school.

Al Gore graduated from Harvard in 1969, but he’d always been interested in theology, so he decided to continue his studies. He didn’t exactly live up to his potential though. After enrolling in Vanderbilt’s prestigious divinity school, over the course of three semesters, he failed five of his eight classes. Gore’s allies claim that the birth of his first child and his duties as a reporter at the Tennessean newspaper kept him from his studies. For the record, though, Gore also later dropped out of Vanderbilt’s law school (in 1976)… http://mentalfloss.com/article/17462/5-surprising-divinity-school-dropouts

Still SMH about C.J.’s LIE that the corrupted and massively manipulated ground data are more accurate than satellites. Another pied piper.
