I believe you’d need to have a scale per “industry” as politicians, reporters, actors and others all seem to have different ranges of stupidity.
As for the political scale I’d humbly submit Pelosies after Nancy or Browns after Corrine. Rates of random, spurious and detrimental events must be Bidens I mean, that’s a “no brainer” in more than one sense.
For actors it would really be a toss up between Paltros and Penns (Sean NOT Jillette.) They seem to be tied in the incoherent world view category. The hypocrisy scale here would be Actori as it would be difficult to parse out a single major contributor.
I don’t watch or listen to news so I may be behind the curve for reporters but I think that Mathews or Mats after that idiot Chris may be appropriate. They would replace the old scale, Rathers, that were retired due to inaccuracies. There may be better candidates here since like the actors, there are a massive number to choose from. Maybe we just call them megaHacks?
I think you should maybe use Dicaprios for the actors. It just makes more sense and there’s no confusion as to who it’s named after.

I live on the boarder of Vermont and we still have thick ice and snow on the ground from January’s snow storms! I ran out of places to plow the snow way back during February. The snow drifts were over my head.

Reporting live from Boulder. Having second thoughts. Yesterday, Colorado Springs children saw Pikes Peak for the last time. Today it’s gone. Global warming turned the air opaque. Just like the Mayor said.

Boulder children started setting up Nuremberg Tribunals in school gyms. I hear they rounded up a few climate deniers. How did they find them in this air? People are afraid to step out. Nobody would find their way back. Deniers don’t dare at all. Schoolchildren are patrolling street corners. Checking people’s papers at entrances to supermarkets and cafes. Priuses and cars with correct bumper stickers allowed into Whole Foods parking lot. Bicyclists too.

My mountain disappeared this afternoon, too. No one could see it even from less than a tenth of a mile away. The air was totally white!
That Pike’s Peak comment is probably due to the fact that all of the pictures of stacks that “spew” CO2 into the atmosphere are shown with billowing clouds of water vapor (the other greenhouse gas). And then, for good measure, they take the picture with the sun in a position that makes them ominously dark. Must be that carbon in the CO2.
You don’t understand. Our children will have a mutation so their eyes can only detect long wave infrared. So inreased GHGs will prevent them from seeing as far.
So the pictures I’ve taken of our Moon with my LWIR camera are fake? How did they do that? I mean, I pushed the button myself… my my these skeptics are clever.
..and alarmists wonder why skeptics have an issue with relating CO2 as “carbon”? The trouble is that many of them wouldn’t even bother correcting her, lest they be also labeled with the D word.
