The 97% Consensus

97% of climate models are wrong.  If it is indeed true that 97% of climate scientists trust climate models, that would indicate that 97% of climate scientists are idiots.

Not that my current thought has a lot to do specifically with this post, but what the hell, here goes…

Paul Ehrlich’s statement that giving humanity a cheap, clean source of energy would be akin to giving an idiot child a machine gun makes a lot more sense when one looks at his paradigm of human behavior. Give the academics who share his world view a supercomputer and a high resolution temperature monitoring system, and they’re going to use it to their own ends, the truth be damned. When their predictions aren’t borne out by practical experience, they pile lies on top of faulty assumptions. God willing, they’re well on their way to completely discrediting themselves, all because they were handed the tools they wanted.

Giving a group of eggheads exactly what they think they want is, indeed, akin to giving an idiot child a machine gun.

Let’s put the idiot child with the machine gun in a room with them…

I don’t believe even 1% trust the models, but 97% use the models. Useful fictions from useful idiots.

“The models are convenient fictions that provide something very useful.”

100% of the 97% refuse to openly discuss or debate precise experimental data that show – beyond any reasonable doubt – the Sun’s pulsar core:

    1. Made our chemical elements
    2. Continues to make and discharge H and He
    3. Birthed the solar system five billion years (5 Ga) ago
    4. Sustained the origin and evolution of life after 3.5 Ga ago
    5. Controls every atom, life and the climate of every planet in the solar system today, . . .

. . . a volume of space that has expanded over the past 5 Ga to be bigger than the combined volumes of 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 Earth’s.

The graph for this story is quite kind to the global warmists. It doesn’t show their predictions as a hockey stick.

    🙂

  6. emsnews says:

By the way, last night the BBC announced that the global warmists all predicted ‘the pause’.

    🙂

After denying there was a ‘pause’ they now take credit for expecting it to happen? Classic 1984 style of rewriting the past. But then, they do this all the time, as you so eloquently proved, Steven.

  7. scizzorbill says:

All of them are probably not idiots. They are smart enough to spout the party line as long as money fills their pockets. The real useful idiots are the librulz down the food chain that gobble it up like pigs at the trough. No insult to swine intended.

  8. Winnipeg Boy says:

Thanks for the links and information. I work with farmers who deal with real weather and put their own money at risk. They are very receptive to my message that AGW is complete BS. Now i have a chart to show that.

  9. Andy Oz says:

97% of the useful idiots in the Australian media who think they understand weather, let alone climate, publish rubbish like this end of the world story on ABC Rural. But the last 3 months rainfall anomaly shows a different story, as does the Australian drought map!! So who exactly is telling pork pies here? I think “Climastrologist” Blair Trewin should look before leaping into publishing erroneous climate hype.
