The AGW debate is over. The worldwide propaganda machine has been exposed after seventy years (1945-2015) of successful operation.
The greatest danger now is some desperate action by world tyrants to retain power:
1. Inciting racial, religious or ethnic violence
2. Genuine or “false flag” wars

Look at all the effort International Corporations went to to clean up the air where they LIVE (USA, EU) and export the dirty industry they get rich off of to China where there are few pollution laws and cheap serf labor to maximize profit.

I used to respect this publication, but now it has gone over to the CAGW dark side.

Why do progressives have to compare everything to war? (i.e. war on drugs, war on climate change, etc.)
It is not just comparing war to everything it is using a specific term LEGAL TERM ‘war’ for a specific legal reason having to do with the Constitutional rights of citizens during peace time and during war time.
This is why a president will “Declare a war on…”
Because they are mentally insecure, and blame normal [whatever that is] people for everything. It is ALWAYS someone else who is to blame for whatever they think is wrong.
They also, accuse normal people of all the very same things that they are guilty of. IMO.

That is typical of thieves and progressives. Accuse your victim of your actions before they can level an accusation against you. It is the best defense of immoral/criminal behavior there is.
War allows them to justify extraordinary government powers… which is the actual point of the whole exercise.
As soon as you create a limited government, the bureaucracy starts thinking of ways to sneak around those limitations. Which US President sat three terms?
They are not idiots. This is a political and economic agenda to impoverish and control people. They have never really cared about the environment, they use our desire to protect the environment as a political weapon to advance an agenda that serves their careers. We have to stop acting like these people are incompetent idiots. They are not. They advance this agenda because it benefits them, empowers them, and/or brings about the sort of society they want. They use their authority and the fact that most of the people have been deliberately miseducated by a school system that is driven by the same aims to mislead and manipulate people to go along with it all.
And before someone says “conspiracy theory”, there is no conspiracy in that sense. The people at the top of wealth and political pyramid set the agenda through funding it and hence the behaviors that are rewarded. The rest falls into place on its own. Take a 100 “scientists” and show them they can have a nice rewarding career advancing a certain political and economic agenda or they can struggle career wise their entire life in the name of scientific truth. My rough guess is about 97% will advance the agenda. And that’s not because of the debunked consensus number, it’s because generally speaking people who don’t go along to get along, who are able to go against social pressures, are about 3-5% of a population it seems from what I’ve learned. Not that a lot more people know the truth, they just won’t take the risks socially and economically.
You are correct only about one or two out of a hundred people are leaders/independent thinkers. The rest are sheep.
Unfortunately the ration of followers vs leaders is what makes herd animals herd animals and humans are herd animals.

Hmmm.
Given a choice between high levels of sulfur/particulates/ozone vs a slight increase in CO2 I’d have to go for the latter.
The people who think this is a bad deal obviously don’t have to wear face masks as they bicycle to work.
Leave it to the CAGW crowd to denigrate something that has an ACTUAL POSITIVE IMPACT on health and the environment.

Not only do Solar and Wind kill eco systems here in the USA and elsewhere the rare earth mining in China needed to make them is killing Chinas rivers, lakes and farmland.

Cleaning up the air allowed more sunlight to reach ground. Some years ago, there was an article from the UK titled “Is Clean Air Responsible for Global Warming”? Haven’t seen it mentioned since.
