Global warming will no longer be an issue when the United States economy collapses.

That seems to be the goal.

The question is whether we can avoid blaming each other and focus on getting rid of the tyrants that rule the world by deceit and manipulation of the people.

Sweet! this means I don’t have to bother looking for a job now. And considering that the universe might be one giant hologram, you and I may never have existed in the first place and our lives have always been meaningless.

“…The world could be as little as 50 or 60 years away from a disastrous new ice age, a leading atmospheric scientist predicts. Dr. S. I. Rasool of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and Columbia University says….”
    …………………

In 1971, Dr S.I. Rasool, insisted that “in the next 50 years, the fine dust man constantly puts into the atmosphere by fossil fuel-burning could screen out so much sunlight that the average temperature could drop by six degrees”

Rasool goes on to say “If sustained over several years — five to ten —- such temperature decrease could be sufficient to trigger an ice age.” To arrive at this conclusion Rassool used a computer program created by his fellow NASA employee, James Hansen.
    paraphrased from this link.

No wonder the MSM and the Progs want to erase history and especially the 1970s Global Cooling Scare!

GEE, it looks like the human race has come up with just the right combination of fine dust put into the atmosphere by fossil fuel-burning causing cooling and CO2 from fossil fuel-burning causing warming to create ‘THE PAUSE!’

Earth’s message to the UN: DON’T MESS WITH ME!

  6. rah says:

Never ending sirens of doom from the UN and a press never puts it into perspective. Time and again they uncritically broadcast such alarmist hysteria never bothering to look back and see how many times before such claims have been made and never revealing the fact that NONE of the disasters predicted occurred. They seem to never hold the merchants of doom accountable for their predictions and such stuff only comes up when a skeptic points it out in a public forum they report on or in an op-ed.

Thankfully it seems there is a combination of people that outweighs the alarmists. The sane and informed. The sane but not informed which intuitively take what the government says with a grain of salt. And then the not so sane and uninformed that just don’t give a crap because the next Kardashian show is coming on soon and they need to take a selfie.

  7. Scot says:

IF skeptics should be jailed if they might be wrong, why not the same for AGW proponents when they are wrong?

  8. Obama allows fracking at US volcanoes – Earthquake activity is rising at locations that normally never experience earthquakes. The monsters World Bank, Rothshchild, Rockefeller are raping earth!

    • Gail Combs says:

You are barking up the wrong tree. Fracking has nothing to do with volcanoes or earthquakes. More likely it is a solar or solar/moon connection.

      Volcanic eruptions and solar activity

      ABSTRACT
The historical record of large volcanic eruptions from 1500 to 1980 is subjected to detailed time series analysis. In two weak but probably statistically significant periodicities of about 11 and 80 yr, the frequency of volcanic eruptions increases (decreases) slightly around the times of solar minimum (maximum). Time series analysis of the volcanogenic acidities in a deep ice core from Greenland reveals several very long periods ranging from about 80 to about 350 yr which are similar to the very slow solar cycles previously detected in auroral and C-14 records. Solar flares may cause changes in atmospheric circulation patterns that abruptly alter the earth’s spin. The resulting jolt probably triggers small earthquakes which affect volcanism.

This one is interesting because they make a predicion of Cycle 24 and semic activity way back in 2007/2008.
ABOUT POSSIBLE INFLUENCE OF SOLAR ACTIVITY UPON SEISMIC AND VOLCANIC ACTIVITIES: LONG-TERM FORECAST
SCIENCE WITHOUT BORDERS. Transactions of the International Academy of Science H &E. Vol.3. 2007/2008

      *Khain V.E., **Khalilov E.N.
*Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov,
**International Academy of Science H&E (Austria, Innsbruck)

It has been determined that in the period of solar activity increase (11-year cycles) there increase seismic and volcanic activities in the compression zone of Earth and at the same time there decreases the activity in the tension zones of Earth. On the basis of the discovered stable 11-year and 22-year cyclicalities in the seismic and volcanic activities and their high correlation with solar activity there has been made the long-term forecast until 2018. The next maximum of seismic and volcanic activity with very high amplitude for the compression zones of Earth is forecasted for the period 2012-2015.

      1. VOLCANISM AND SOLAR ACTIVITY
The attempts of detection of statistical connection between solar activity and volcanic manifestations were made in the number of works of A.I.Abdurakhmanov (1976), N.K.Bulin (1982), Y.A.Gadjiyev (1985), N.I.Guschenko (1985), Sh.F.Mekhtiyev, E.N.Khalilov (1984, 1985), S.V. Tzirel (2002). Thus, A.I.Abdurakhmanov, P.P.Firstov and V.A.Shirokov (1976) made a guess about connection of volcanic ejection with 11-year cyclicality of solar activity.

In the opinion of the authors, the years unfavorable for volcanic eruptions are located in the neighborhood of maximum solar activity whereas the most favorable years for eruptions are located not far from minimum solar activity, mainly, in the middle and in the end of solar cycles decay.

Stoyko A. and Stoyko N. showed in their works the high correlation of duration of days and dates of short-moving sunspots, pic.1 (Stoyko A. and Stoyko N., 1969).

On the basis of study of Akhtal (Georgia) mud volcano activity B.M.Valyayev and others came to a conclusion about existence of statistically sure connection between Akhtal mud volcano activity and solar activity, (Valyayev and others)……

…..Thus, the research of the mechanisms of cyclic volcanism and seismicity gives an opportunity to solve a practical problem – the realization of long-term forecast of the activity of volcanoes and earthquakes. That is the reason of why it’s so interesting and important for us the realization of such a long-term forecast on the basis of the results of a large-scale and laborious work devoted to the study of spacious mechanisms of modern manifestation of volcanism and seismicity. Pic.12. shows forecast graphs for the period until 2018, for solar activity, as well as for seismic and volcanic activities of compression rims of the Earth.

As it seen from the picture, we haven’t the curve of Wolf numbers in the capacity of the index of solar activity, but the graph of changes of solar constant, because exactly this characteristic has the energetic expression.
      http://www.kosmofizika.ru/ucheba/sun/68.jpg).
It should be noted that the solar constant has a high correlation with Wolf numbers, that is logical.

Even visual comparison of graphs gives an opportunity to catch a high likeness and some delay of cycles of seismic and volcanic activities of compression rims of the Earth against solar activity. The time of delay is fluctuating from 1,5 to 2 years. The reasoning of such a mechanism of delay was given above. Starting from 2008, forecast parts of graphs were given, that were built on the basis of usage of previous, stable for a long period of time, mechanisms.

On all the graphs show another cycle of activity, equal on the average period to 11-12 years. As graph shows, the maximum of the cycle of high solar activity falls on 2012. Thus, the maximums of the cycles of volcanic and seismic activity of compression rims of the Earth fall on 2012-2015, taking into account previously observed time shift. The longest period of volcanic and seismicity activity (4 years), in comparison with solar activity, can be explained by sufficient inertness of geodynamical processes on one hand, and by influence of a whole range of other factors as well as endogenous and cosmic, excepting solar activity on the other hand…..

Bipolar correlation of volcanism with millennial climate change

      Abstract

Analyzing data from our optical dust logger, we find that volcanic ash layers from the Siple Dome (Antarctica) borehole are simultaneous (with >99% rejection of the null hypothesis) with the onset of millennium-timescale cooling recorded at Greenland Ice Sheet Project 2 (GISP2; Greenland). These data are the best evidence yet for a causal connection between volcanism and millennial climate change…..

Although the Earth maintains a remarkably constant temperature, climate fluctuations have been identified on many timescales. On the 103-year scale, poorly understood Dansgaard–Oeschger (DO) events (1, 2), extremely rapid coolings/warmings and subsequent cold/warm periods, are best exhibited during the last glacial period [20,000–110,000 years before the present or 20–110 thousand years ago (ka)] but may extend with reduced amplitude into the Holocene (3) (the comparatively stable, warm, last ?11 ka). Proposed causal mechanisms involve harmonics of Milankovitch (orbital) forcing, thermohaline circulation, internal ocean–atmosphere oscillations, solar forcing, and even long-period tidal resonances in the motions of the Earth and Moon. Recent work suggests that the fluctuations resemble those of a system possessing threshold instability. Rapid transitions between states are exhibited in many climate models, including those of oceanic circulation, atmospheric energy balance, and atmospheric regime change. It is becoming increasingly apparent that global climate models currently either omit some natural forcings from the simulations or underestimate the size and extent of climate response to threshold crossings, e.g., by considering the North Atlantic as the amplifier for DO oscillations and only including North Atlantic triggers in the model (4). The possibilities that rapid climate change can induce volcanic activity and, conversely, that volcanic eruptions can force millennial climate have both been suggested in the past (5). Based on evidence we have found using our optical profiles of deep boreholes in the polar ice caps, we conclude that volcanism may supply a vital missing link in millennial climate change.

  9. Dave N says:

Gotta love alarmists: many have their own opinion about “points of no return”. We’ve passed most of them already and of course, if there’s “insufficient action” they’ll just keep coming up with new ones.

It used to be comical; now it’s becoming boring. It is little wonder that less people care now.
