Everything you mentioned are tiny spots out of the entire world. Also under global warming more snow and ice coverage is predicted because warmth drives moisture into the atmosphere. That means there is more rain and precipitation.
Check out that before you believe in debunked, disproved theories. Why don’t you look up the word cherry picking and find out what you are doing wrong in your thinking?

The idea that Ehrlich is qualified to be a co-author of a scientific paper on the ecology and climate change is laughable.
His Malthusian Population Bomb predictions since the 1960’s have been consistently wrong. Period.
You might as well have a high school biology teacher as your co-author.

The web site is a good look into Ehrlich’s philosophy because after losing his wager (he set the variables including the time period) he comes up with a new set of criteria that is just jaw dropping. I remember him talking about “real costs”.

I was going to comment on how it is rather discouraging to see that Ehrlich continues to get coverage by the media when he should be laughed off of the stage. Then I thought it’s even worse. As Gail says, it IS mindblowing that a guy like John Holdren is our National Science advisor. Then again, it shouldn’t be, because the guy that picked him has proven beyond a shadow of doubt what even the most casual observer should have recognized in 2008. That he is most likely the least qualified person to ever be elected to the office of the President.
I tend to shy away from hyperbole about the president Tim, but ONLY taking into account the appointment of John Holdren as his National Science adviser makes me wholeheartedly agree with your final sentence.
It makes you wonder exactly what TPTB are up to.
