Well then, it must have been everywhere else!
Someplace with no instrumentation, no doubt.
The warming is confined to places surrounded by skyscrapers, superhighways, AC exhaust and jet exhaust. At airports that were in rural areas 50 years ago that are now highly urbanized. Also places where the thermometer was miscalibrated for years on end, like Washington National Airport. At places where temperatures have been radically adjusted upward by agenda driven “climate scientists”, when they should have been adjusted downward due to urban heat island effect.
The bizarro world of warmists knows no logic.
I remember reading some justification blather by one of the CAGW enthusiasts. He was claiming that the current readings at airports needed to be adjusted HOTTER. Why? “Even years ago, a lot of the thermometer locations were at airports, but back then the airports were closer to town. Now, all the airports have been moved farther out into the country because the cities are too crowded. Obviously, the move to the country means that they are now reading too low and need to be adjusted upward!”
Massive increase in air traffic? Massive increase in paved asphalt and concrete? Jet engines blowing huge quantities of hot air? Thousands of hot automobiles parked nearby? Nawwwww…. how could those little factors make a difference? 🙁
It is astounding that your counterargument to the claim that February 2016 was the warmest month ever recorded is to present four isolated sites that show that this was not the case. Sorry, but that’s a pretty weak way to convince the warmists out there.
It’s at least 100x better than the ‘evidence’ presented by warmists for anything at all
