On November 23, 1931 the eastern half of the US and Canada was record warm, with 80 degrees in West Virginia and temperatures over 70 degrees at far north as New Hampshire.

Thirty-seven percent of the US was over 70 degrees that day.

Across the entire country, the warmest November 23rds occurred from 1899 to 1915, with 1904 being the warmest.

On November 23, 1904 most of the US was over 60 degrees.

This year is quite different, with record skiing from Arizona to North Carolina.
