In other news, Welsh scientists have found two new uses for sheep.

    Meat and wool.

These “scientists” should be comedians, if they weren’t so pathetic. Time to grow up boys and stop speaking in absolutes.

I reckon few people could name a mountain or hill in the British Isles that I haven’t climbed up at least once. I am led to suspect that these Welsh scientists may have been a little less active in this respect. The contrast between strolling around in a T-shirt at the car park at the start of the walk and the sometimes life-threatening conditions at the top are not to be dismissed lightly. I’ve experienced snowstorms in July on Scottish hills.
You soon learn that if there looks to be even a little bit of snow on the tops then you need full winter gear because when you get there, you’ll realise that there’s a darn sight more than it appeared.
I’m pretty sure the end of snow is some way off!
