Today you hear a lot of “socially responsible” mask proponents scream hysterically at maskless citizens, screaming at them to “Just wear the (bleeping) mask!” That is, as if all they have to do is perform this simple social duty … and everything will be all right. That is, that if we will only wear masks, that will be the end of it.

Err… wrong. Masks are just the beginning. As Tony has just documented with the example of “progressive” New Zealand. and in the good ol’ USA, the CDC was posting job advertisements for “quarantine center directors” way back in November 2019.

That is, the draconian steps that follow mask mandates are part of an agenda laid out some time ago. Tony’s example of Anne Frank is quite appropriate. Wearing a yellow star didn’t help poor Anne, did it? Just as wearing a mask won’t help today’s moronic Pod People.

Anne Frank famously said “People are basically good.” Kind of like Pollyanna.

Excellent video. I wish everyone in the country would see it.

It would appear that there are not enough people dying in the poorest parts of Africa

I have a hatred for masks as regardless of any science as they turn everybody into dehumanised drones. Those pushing them seem to have an agenda beyond the virus to alienate and destroy our society.

Here in Australia we keep getting calls to wear masks, and on LinkedIn the brain dead keep posting politically correct stories of factories and workplaces mandating masks. I am sickened by how many line up to “like” these posts in an orgy of virtue signalling. And this is frequently in places with virtually no cases at all!

Too bad the masks do absolutely nothing. They are not cheap either. So if they were effective (they aren’t as we know) then that effectiveness would ruined by constant use which is occurring.

My question is; At what point will we have to stop wearing masks? The problem here in Australia is that the completely flawed strategy being followed without herd immunity means that unless the virus mutates or a vaccine miraculously appears we will be having continual lockdowns forever. Or at least until the economy is completely destroyed…

Thus once they get in, then we will all be masked automatons for potentially years to come. At least in Belgium and the US with an active virus people are achieving herd immunity and the reason for them will naturally go away – here each wave will be just like the first as there are so many people who have never had it. So the mask Nazis will continue to have a “reason” for their authoritarian power trips.

At least some journalists here are belling the cat. Steve Watersons piece in the Australian today about being lead by a “clown car of idiots” was dead on. Pity he is the exception…

  5. Scissor says:

It’s my opinion that masks might help reduce transmission of viruses to others by reducing the size of the exhalation cloud, thereby effectively increasing social distancing.

It’s obviously not hugely significant because otherwise it would be evident in the data. Most studies seem to show no benefit.

Further, every action has consequences, and it’s not clear either whether any mask benefit outweighs the consequences. Some for example suggest that masks increase bacterial and fungal infections. Masks might even increase the severity of viral infections by countering ones own defense mechanisms.

  6. Theyouk says:

Tony the inaccuracies in the media (and sensationalism) are beyond astounding. Using publicly available data, to ‘achieve’ the same percent loss of population as the 1918-19 pandemic, the US would need to lose around 2.3 million more people. We are losing around 1,000 per day, so this pace would need to continue for over 2,300 more days–or over 6 years.

Do these ‘journalists’ even know how to tie their shoes?

  7. Tish Farrell says:

Tony, I’m thinking the link I put in my earlier comment supports your point – sci-tech hijack.

  8. Caleb Shaw says:

One thing I heard on the radio while driving is that the massive government funding for a million doses of vaccine has some small print. The small print stipulates that the vaccine can be rushed “as long as no alternative treatments exist”. If alternatives exist then the vaccine has to undergo more rigorous testing.

This may explain why the various prophylactic treatments, including Hydroxychloroquine, are so zealously resisted. Any doctor noting positive results is disregarded. For example, one Texas doctor, Dr. Richard Bartlett, noted he’d had splendid results in cases where people already had the virus by by utilizing the steroid used by asthma patients, budesonide, (and explaining it should be inhaled using a nebulizer and not injected). After briefly going viral on Youtube it was”disappeared” the same way doctor’s Hydroxychloroquine videos are “disappeared”.

I have my suspicions. People may make fortunes on the vaccine, or they may lose their pants. They lose their pants if alternative treatments are widely tried out and proven effective. Not only will the vaccine become unnecessary, but the clause in the government funding will be activated if “alternative treatments” exist.

To be fair, here is the “” debunking of Dr. Richard Bartlett claims regarding budesonide:

The problem is we need to fact check the fact-checkers, and scrutinize anyone called an “expert”, these days. It is shameful how easily some people can be bought and turned into bald-faced liars.

Haven’t been long on yours site and it’s good to see, you still hunt truth, evidence and facts :)
something interesting about viruses and other nonsense:

btw. still too cold summers in Estonia, for 5 years now. just few heatwaves.
Wish you stay with science and keep away from politics. It was reason, i didnt read yours blog for few years. Politics doesnt leave anyone clean. Its dirty and there no “good” sides or better sides… its big shop with expensive goods, like human lives, power, more power…
I truly enjoy yours posts about science and those cute little fellows of yours ^^

    one more fact

Perhaps the most interesting epidemiological studies conducted during the 1918–1919 pandemic were the human experiments conducted by the Public Health Service and the U.S. Navy under the supervision of Milton Rosenau on Gallops Island, the quarantine station in Boston Harbor, and on Angel Island, its counterpart in San Francisco. The experiment began with 100 volunteers from the Navy who had no history of influenza. Rosenau was the first to report on the experiments conducted at Gallops Island in November and December 1918.69 His first volunteers received first one strain and then several strains of Pfeiffer’s bacillus by spray and swab into their noses and throats and then into their eyes. When that procedure failed to produce disease, others were inoculated with mixtures of other organisms isolated from the throats and noses of influenza patients. Next, some volunteers received injections of blood from influenza patients. Finally, 13 of the volunteers were taken into an influenza ward and exposed to 10 influenza patients each. Each volunteer was to shake hands with each patient, to talk with him at close range, and to permit him to cough directly into his face. None of the volunteers in these experiments developed influenza. Rosenau was clearly puzzled, and he cautioned against drawing conclusions from negative results. He ended his article in JAMA with a telling acknowledgement: “We entered the outbreak with a notion that we knew the cause of the disease, and were quite sure we knew how it was transmitted from person to person. Perhaps, if we have learned anything, it is that we are not quite sure what we know about the disease.”69 (p. 313)

The research conducted at Angel Island and that continued in early 1919 in Boston broadened this research by inoculating with the Mathers streptococcus and by including a search for filter-passing agents, but it produced similar negative results.70–72 It seemed that what was acknowledged to be one of the most contagious of communicable diseases could not be transferred under experimental conditions.

  11. Disillusioned says:

The lying scientists and their bullhorn media are winning. At what cost?

As I ended my hour-long jaunt through the park this morning at 7:30 AM, I looked over at a dozen or so healthy young men in their 20s, stretching their legs by the picnic tables, getting ready for a run through the trails. Every last one of them was obediently wearing a facial diaper.

In stark contrast, 100% of the sexagenarian, septuagenarian and octogenarian walkers and joggers I passed on the paths this morning were NOT wearing any face muzzles. It is so nice to be able to look each other in the eye and smile as we pass and say, “Good morning!”

Unfortunately, the younger people don’t dare make eye contact. They don’t even seem to know how to say “Hello” as they pass by someone by. Extreme social awkwardness and a grip of fear on the young and the ignorant seems to be very real in my little corner of the world. It would be awkward for me not to look someone in the eyes and offer a morning greeting as I pass them on the trail. It is really sad what I see happening to our younger generations.

    • Caleb Shaw says:

I confess I do wear a mask in certain stores, mostly out of consideration for the feelings of the freaked-out. But I am going to write a comment on each mask. One is “Scientifically proven useless.” Another is “Mandatory Muzzle”.

I will not wear a mask outside or in my car. If I must go to jail for it I will.

      • Disillusioned says:

I do pretty much what you’re doing (well, everything but your upcoming billboard project).

Since it is now law in this state to wear one in public, I do keep a facial diaper in the glove compartment to use whenever not wearing it would keep me from getting something I need, or want so badly that I would be willing to temporarily submit to the tyrannical abuse of individual freedom.

However, as a recovering sheeple, I believe they can wake up if and whenever they choose. So, I will not be wearing a mask to soothe the feelings of scared snowflakes.

  12. Tish Farrell says:

One of our main centres of sanity in the UK is the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine and its key operators – both practising medical doctors – Prof Carl Heneghan and Dr Tom Jefferson have put the Gov. right on its shambles with the statistics of fatalities and test numbers. They have also been reviewing the problems with the PCR test on which all the fear and panic hype/lockdown/loss of civil liberties is based. Here they point up the glaring problems with interpretation:
“This detection problem is ubiquitous for RNA viruses detection. SARS-CoV, MERS, Influenza Ebola and Zika viral RNA can be detected long after the disappearance of the infectious virus.

“The immune system works to neutralise the virus and prevent further infection. Whilst an infectious stage may last a week or so, because inactivated RNA degrades slowly over time it may still be detected many weeks after infectiousness has dissipated.” This info should be shouted from the rooftops. I send this letter (sans funds) to every Republican who solicits my money. I believe it is an accurate account of what’s taken place:

    National Republican Congressional Committee
    PO Box 96156
    Washington, DC 20090-6156

You don’t need my money to win this election, you just need to get your shit together.

In October 2019 Bill and Melinda Gates sponsored the Agenda 2030 Conference. Prominent participants included the Chinese Communist Party, the World Health Organization and CDC. On the final day the conferees war gamed their response to a pandemic caused by a Chinese Corona virus jumping from another species to humans.

The agreed recipe for dealing with the pandemic was to stop air travel, shut down nonessential industries and confine people to their homes, allowing low carbon footprint tech professionals to work from home, while preventing high carbon footprint, non-tech workers from working at all, making them dependent on the state.

Three weeks later an elderly man who lived near the Wuhan virus lab died of COVID-19 symptoms. He lived more than a mile from the Wuhan wet market, a place he’d never been. In fact, for a long time he hadn’t been anywhere. Dementia had confined him to his apartment for over a year.

The median time to death after COVID-19 infection is 18.5 days, which means COVID-19 infected its first human patient a matter of a few days after the Agenda 2030 Conference. A few months later, after they’d ensured enough carriers had traveled from China to the Western World, the CCP announced the discovery of COVID-19 and very publicly locked down Wuhan, leaking videos of its extreme quarantine measures.

Most nations followed Gates’ plan, shuttering their economies, turning most of their citizens wards of the states…all over a disease that’s at worst three times as deadly as the seasonal flu, against which we’ve never developed an effective vaccine. In fact, subtract the seniors Cuomo killed in New York’s nursing homes and the fraudulent COVID-19 deaths, and our death toll is likely similar to our occasional worse than normal flue seasons.

October 2019’s Agenda 2030 Conference wasn’t a session for conferees planning to prevent a catastrophe, it was a session for conferees planning to cause that catastrophe.

Donald Trump’s policies toward Chinese trade and patent abuses were an existential threat to the Chinese Communist Party. It wanted to ensure Trump’s defeat in 2020.

Gates is a Malthusian overpopulation and Global Warming fanatic. To him, Trump’s pursuit of capitalism is an existential threat to the world. He wanted to ensure Trump’s defeat in 2020.

Trump’s efforts to drain the swamp are existential threats to the millions of lazy, incompetent “public servants” in the swamp, like Birx and Fauci, (both directors of Gates foundations) who’ve managed billions of public and private dollars in efforts that have accomplished nothing but furthering their swamp careers. In fact, Birx and Fauci have been so unsuccessful, in private industry their job titles would be “Unemployed”.

…And you dumbasses hired them to run your COVID-19 response.

I’ll give you the two week shutdown to “flatten the curve” for an unknown new disease, but extending it past two weeks played into the hands of the CCP, WHO, Bill Gates, the CDC, Birx, Fauci and – the DNC.

You know this, but have no way out because Trump is incapable of admitting he’s been bested at anything. (You can’t even admit AOC’s social media sabotage worked. We Tulsans didn’t (and don’t) care about COVID-19, we cared about reports that a million people RSVPd for a venue limited to 11,000. We didn’t go because we weren’t going to get in.) Trump cannot admit he’s been snookered on COVID-19.

And that’s too bad, because an admission would make reasonable Americans look at the facts: Three weeks after the CCP and WHO and Birx and Fauci and Gates war gamed a pandemic, EXACTLY THAT PANDEMIC APPEARED, and by following their plan we accomplished the goals of all those involved, bankrupting our entrepreneurial class, ruining Trump’s popularity, and perhaps collapsing our currency.

Coincidence? I think not. Most Americans will conclude staying at home, waiting for a vaccine plays into their enemies’ hands. (The CDC demands a COVID-19 vaccine be at least 50% effective, but our flu vaccines are never more than 35% effective, so Fauci and Birx et al have maneuvered Trump into a corner, waiting for a vaccine unlikely ever to meet their specs, at least not until the United States is bankrupt, the US dollar has collapsed, and we’ve been shoehorned into tiny, 400 square foot Agenda 2030 housing units as wards of the Gatesian state…all because you hired your enemies to run the COVID-19 response. (Which dumbass picked Birx and Fauci? I don’t care if it’s Pence, death is too good for him.) If you would admit you fell for an economic plot designed to destroy the President by collapsing our economy, a plot actively supported by Democrats in collusion with the CCP, you’d win the election in a landslide.

You don’t need my money, you need to step up to the microphone and tell Americans the truth – you were snookered, but though he’s been played this time, Trump is still our only hope.

  14. Robert says:

I haven’t seen all your videos but what do you make of the idea that on the steep peaks like AZ, NY when cases reach 1% of population the curve begins to turn over? To look at it another way if there is 10% more seroprevalance you multiply the number of cases by 10 it gives you 10% of population. There are some that suggest that at 10 to 20% you start to see a herd immunity effect and then your cases go down. Any thoughts on this?

  15. Mats Lindberg says:

New interesting data from one region in Sweden; Of the Covid deaths among the elderly, only 15% died FROM the virus. The other 85% died with the virus but from other causes!

Records from 122 people have been reviewed, which is 51 percent of the 240 people who had died in the county when the review was done. Among the 122 deceased included in the report, 111 had extensive comorbidity and 11 had moderate comorbidity. Half were 88 years or older. The diseases that were the most common contributing causes of death were heart disease, lung disease or dementia.

  16. Here in Nevada, they are putting democrat fundraising ads on your videos

I let them play, as they have no chance with me and I love the idea of money flowing from them to you

  17. Patman says:

The cdc website until recently had a comprehensive study on the efficacy of masks from 1946 until 2017 (ish) . This was very detailed and concluded that with influenza viruses masks had no significant effect on transmission. They are of no use whatsoever. Also if this infection had appeared 80 or 90 years ago we wouldn’t have noticed , there were not enough 80 Years plus people around!

  18. Peter C. Hugger says:

Just read this well documented article –

He has some new insights and ways of looking at the data.
“In the Northern U.S states, IT’S OVER, and it had nothing to do with how governments, or the populace, behaved. A virus does what a virus does.”

Covid-19, August 25th isn’t looking too good for you.
