   I checked on human breath particle size vs vaping after watching vaper exhale through a mask proving the mask completely ineffective. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1yJ99qPIYM It is the scientist in me. This is what I found. Human breath and vaping-exhale are close to same sized particles.

   “E-cigarette vapor is made up of fine and ultrafine particles of particulate matter. Vaping generates particulate matter 2.5 μm or less in diameter (PM2.5), but at notably less concentrations compared to cigarette smoke.”

   Human breath “…measured particles between 0.3 and 8.0 μm during mouth breathing and nose breathing, and found that over 84% of particles exhaled were under 1 μm. Differences between nose breathing and mouth breathing were small, but nose breathing produced the lowest number of particles.”

   My guess is that vaping smoke picks up moisture in the lungs which is probably what controls the size. If a mask does not stop vaping exhale, it likely does not stop virus particles exhaled either. Cloth masks that so many promote are more for show than truly effective.

   As is so often demonstrated by my yellow dog dim voting relatives, “obvious” is not in their lexicon but “oblivious” is. They oppose most dim policies such as immigration, affirmative action, abortion, gay marriage, welfare and raising taxes, yet they brag they vote a straight dim ticket. My conclusion is it is a learned behavior – like a religion not to be questioned – “my daddy was a democrat, his daddy was a democrat….” I m not sure how my “daddy” became an independent but it “obviously” wasn’t through herd instinct.
