Hey, who says you can’t go from a megadrought to megaflood in one weather event?

We have now had two solid weeks of rain. Another week ahead of rain in the NM forecast for NM 😍

Seems like it was just last year when sites along the lower Pecos near Roswell experienced some pretty severe flooding. I took a trip to the Gila area in late July and I don’t remember ever seeing that area so green, including the Plains of San Augustin. Beautiful grasses, wildflowers, trees, etc. Can’t wait to pack up and go again real soon – considering all the rain they’ve had there lately. Some good rains over here on the east side of NM as well. Yeah – it was very dry here between October and May but nothing that unusual. As always – we will recover.
