    The Arctic must have melted in 1888, pushing all the cold and snow into the northern U.S.

    So this is what the warmists are wanting to return to. Screw them move to Greenland if that is your preferred weather.

    Plus if it happened today it would be proof of climate change.

  3. Stephen Richards says:

    If I remember correctly there was also a massive snowstorm in march in the SW UK. Not sure if it was 1881 or 1888 but reports from the vicar of that area said that the vallys were full of snow and snow lay in places until july.

      In 1881 there was a tremendous blizzard in the UK;

      In 1888 there was a more than tremendous blizzard in NYC that buried some 3 story buildings. !888 is also the year that London reported snow on July 12th

  5. gator69 says:

    It was the railroad, obviously. Natural climates only exist in the absence of white men.

    Now where was mayor Bloomberg to declare this storm to be caused by GoreBull Warming?

  8. Chewer says:

    All of those gaseous White Tail Deer and an over abundance of gassy Moose and pile dropping Bison brought that storm to fruition 😉
