I worked with my father in the mid 1960s to gain passage of the NH legislation to clean our waters of sewage & industrial pollution some years before the Federal legislation; IIRC, ours was the first such law in the country. Unquestionably ‘the cause’ has been hi-jacked and exploited by the arrogant elitists of the left over the past fifty years, then taken well past the edge of madness. I agree with having full knowledge that it was never about science. However, I think the facts and the science have to be repeated again and again until the actually get out into general awareness. Having used pseudo science to fool the general populace, now that the facts so clearly prove they were wrong, those facts have to become common knowledge.
The reason I say this is I continually see politicians or others make erroneous statements right out of the alarmist talking points, then use some non-science reasons to doubt the alarmists. Along the lines of “Well no one is arguing that the climate is not more extreme that it used to be, but even the UN acknowledges there’s been no warming.” Or “No one is saying CO2 isn’t a problem, but we can’t do anything about when China’s emissions are going through the roof.”
There just isn’t enough factual knowledge floating around for talking heads to make a strong case. The people on TV sure aren’t the smartest people out there, so they need simple facts that even they can remember and repeat.
I should add, I’m not saying who should be doing what, only pointing out that now is the time for more facts, since they are in outright fraud mode now.

Now we are all strangers and with both parents working the rearing of the kids is left to the state.

I don’t think that Goddard is saying that he will no longer post about the CAGW hoax. He’s just pointing out that the warmists’ pretense of scientific validity is dead and should be considered thusly.

USSR controlled the space around planet Earth after launching Sputnik in Oct 1957, and
Alert enough to realize that the USA returned control of space to the USSR in Jan 1972 when Kissinger and Nixon agreed to end the Apollo program in exchange for an end to the Cold War?
Can the USA fly to the International Space Station now? Or does the USA now depend on Russian rockets to get there?
