EPA Blames Their Attempts To Destroy US Energy Infrastructure On Climate Change

Facing the Obama administration’s so-called “war on coal,” some utility officials are warning that fewer coal-fired power plants could leave the U.S. power system vulnerable to blackouts in the near future.

“Regulation from five years ago is closing about 20 percent of the coal plants. Regulations being proposed now could close an additional 20 percent of coal plants. And that creates huge stresses — we’re just not ready for anything like that in this country,” Mike Duncan, from the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity, told Fox News.

Asked about future regulations, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy suggested the agency is trying to be careful.

“Nothing we do can threaten reliability. We have to recognize that in a changing climate like the one we have recently been experiencing, it is an increasing challenge to maintain a reliable energy supply,” McCarthy said.

The EPA shuts down power plants, threatening the country’s energy supply, then blames the threat they have created on “climate change.

Ok, so say its true. HReid is shown to be complicit in abuse of power, illegal use of federal resources for personal gain, yada yada yada…. when do the cops show at his door, and perp walk the crook out to meet his public he has been stealing from all of his career? Answer me that one point, assuming he is truly mixed up in criminal conspiracy to defraud an american citizen into losing his land, and violating his basic constitutional right. When? Dont get me wrong, I think it might true. I just dont see any real American Law Enforcement humans with balls big enough to bring charges. This is not rocket science. In the daysgone by, guys like this ended their “criminal political” career at the end of a rope. But just answer that one question, please.

I got the horse and ….

Some rodeo types used a horse and rope and a bit of road burn to convince the Animal Rights activists it was NOT a good Idea to steal/turn lose a cowboy’s cutting horse especially when he was riding up to his trailer on his roping horse. The town cops thought it was funny.

older book called Overload..about greentards blocking power cos building, from the late 70s? seems almost a blueprint of todays happenings. stations under stress and then one goes down..two go down etc etc.everyone blames he power cos for failing to supply, yet? the same people cause it.

Let’s hope this coming winter, Washington DC experience several blackouts or at least brownouts. Weatherbell, claims this coming winter for the eastern half will be colder that normal, with the snow-belt further south than this past winter, as such DC will be on target for “man caused climate change”. Just wish the coal company’s would not supply the coal plant in DC with coal.

  4. Donna K. Becker says:

It seems to me that McCarthy’s statement (above) may be a tacit admission, cleverly worded, that perhaps–just perhaps–shutting down more coal plants, etc. would jeopardize energy needs IF we continue having more cold weather. If it were indeed warming, it wouldn’t be quite so critical to maintain that “reliable energy supply.”

I look at Gail’s map as a true opportunity for Coal Fired Electrical Generation. Just like what is happening in Germany now, once they shut down most of their Nuclear plants to pacify the Greens and the so called FREE energy from wind and solar disappointed, The Germans are now building new coal fired electrical generation plants at a fearsome rate.

It is a true testament to the incredible sensibility of the German Nation. Now all we need to do is to shake the leach from Illinois off of the body politic and get on with building new coal plants to take the place of the most outdated ones. I predict that in twenty years that new, bigger, and better coal fired electric generation plants will be the only legacy of one Barry Soetoro worth mentioning.
