Eight years ago this week I went to see Obama speak at the CSU campus. He talked for twenty minutes and said nothing. He was creepy, manipulative and the crowd looked and acted like zombies.

Today I went to a Trump rally in Golden, Colorado. He talked at length, was highly energized, the crowd loved him and he loved the crowd – which overflowed into two rings of people surrounding the packed fairground event hall. Most of the crowd appeared to be women.

It was an amazing experience and showed how Obama has transformed America from zombies like Obama, McCain and Romney – to a very charismatic and dynamic leader like Trump. He will be a fabulous president, who understands and genuinely loves America.

Our society wastes huge amounts of oil which our children and their children will need.

I commute and do all my local transport on a bicycle, bus or train, and am keenly aware of all the pollution, noise and waste in our automobile-centric lifestyle. I also am keenly aware how much more enjoyable it is to not be in  car.

Cars take up ridiculous amounts of space, kill 30,000 Americans a year. And they squander our children’s legacy.
