According to fraudulent GISS temperatures, Earth warmed 0.5C from 1910 to 1940, when CO2 rose 10 PPM. Since then, temperatures rose another 0.5C, with an increase of 80 PPM

So we can calculate 1910-1940 CO2 sensitivity as 0.5C/10 PPM = 0.05C/PPM

Post 1940 sensitivity is 0.5C/80 PPM = 0.00625C/PPM

In other words, their imaginary “CO2 sensitivity” has dropped by a factor of eight since 1940.

This is a blatant falsehood. So far this century, atmospheric temperatures are declining.

Even fraudulent GISS data is nowhere near the Lancet claims.

Perhaps they were ignoring the actual data, and basing their claims on models? The models are hopelessly broken, and don’t put temperatures anywhere near 4C even if they were correct.

Polar bear cubs are doing just fine.

In an interview with Norwegian broadcaster Sigrid Agnethe Hansen (23 June 2015), polar bear biologist Jon Aars from the Norwegian Polar Institute said (via Google Translate and some inference on my part for a few words):  “Last year [2014] in autumn we saw that there was more ice, particularly in denning areas.

And throughout the year the ice conditions have held up good… It has been an excellent year, with a lot of ice. It appears that there are many females in good condition that have cubs of the year, and the cubs appear to be in good shape…. Many of the females we saw this year had cubs, and it is natural to believe that the abundance of ice exerted a positive effect.

The House of Representatives today passed H. R. 2042, the Ratepayer Protection Act, by a vote of 247 to 180.  This vote strongly rebukes the Obama EPA’s power grab.  It also provides strong support for the rider in the House’s Interior-EPA Appropriations bill that would also block the EPA’s regulation of greenhouse gas emissions from existing power plants.  Another key point that needs to be stressed in the media is that it shows that President Obama’s commitments to reduce emissions made to the forthcoming Paris Accord are opposed by a strong majority in the House and are therefore unlikely to be implemented.

Britain braced for mini-ice age as temperatures are set to drop to a 300-year low

Low temperatures not seen for 300 years could be on the way to Britain thanks to a drop in solar activity, experts have warned.

If you were enjoying the current warm spell, enjoy it while it lasts as forecasters have warned that the UK could enter a mini-ice age.

A Met Office-led study in conjunction with scientists at the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge and Reading, found that a return to low solar activity not seen for centuries could increase the chances of cold winters in Europe and eastern parts of the United States.

But the study, which was published in the Nature Communications journal, added that the freeze will not be enough to halt global warming.

Sarah Ineson, a Met Office scientist and lead author of the study said: “This research shows that the regional impacts of a grand solar minimum are likely to be larger than the global effect, but it’s still nowhere near big enough to override the expected global warming trend due to man-made change.

“This means that even if we were to see a return to levels of solar activity not seen since the Maunder Minimum, our winters would likely still be getting milder overall.”
