After a couple of years of non-stop global warming scare stories and massively faked temperature data – the next phase of the plan has begun.

President Obama is planning to take credit for saving the planet, which simply requires making a fake deal in Paris, funding good news climate research instead of bad news climate research, and telling Gavin and Tom to start reversing their cheating with the climate data.

The first evidence of this appeared a few days ago, when Mikey Mann changed his BS from bad news to good news. He started pimping the patently false idea that CO2 emissions were declining due to the good work of President Obama. This has had immediate benefits, suckering clueless journalists like Frank McDonald at The Irish Times

Similarly, the New York Times just ran a big story about “The Hopeful Al Gore”

The switch from negativity to positivism is an essential part of the plan. Look for more of this as we head to Paris.

We didn’t listen to the climate deniers, did the right thing and saved the planet. All hail Emperor Obama and patron saint Al Gore.

But where does this leave the climate scientists who have been milking the scam? We can be quite certain that Hayhoe, Mann, Hansen et al have been quite well compensated for their efforts. They will be awarded medals of Freedom by the President.

WASHINGTON — Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky has begun an aggressive campaign to block President Obama’s climate change agenda in statehouses and courtrooms across the country, arenas far beyond Mr. McConnell’s official reach and authority.

The campaign of Mr. McConnell, the Senate majority leader, is aimed at stopping a set of Environmental Protection Agency regulations requiring states to reduce carbon pollution from coal-fired power plants, the nation’s largest source of greenhouse gas emissions.

To make his case, Mr. McConnell is also relying on a network of powerful allies with national influence and roots in Kentucky or the coal industry. Within that network is Laurence H. Tribe, a highly regarded scholar of constitutional law at Harvard Law School and a former mentor of Mr. Obama’s.

Mr. Tribe  likened Mr. Obama’s climate change rules to “burning the Constitution.”

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Nov. 2.—The results of calm investigation have proved conclusively that so far from being exaggerated the first reports of the destruction wrought by the cyclone at St. Vincent were rather short of the actual facts. The island was literally swept absolutely bare of vegetation, the experience of 1780 being repeated, but the full extent of the devastation was not at first realized, owing to the difficulty of communication through the destruction of the roads and the coastal shipping.

The Governor of the Windward Islands has now sent out an appeal to the neighboring islands stating the facts, and asking that roots, slips, and seeds of potatoes, cassava, yams, peas, and ‘other economic plants be forwarded as soon as possible to enable cultivation to be restored. His Excellency declares in a brief but significant descriptive paragraph that the whole aspect of the landscape has been changed. Instead of the pervading green common to all tropical prospects, it is now a uniform dirty brown color, only relieved by long white poles—the decapitated columns of palm and cocoanut trees. Nothing in the way of vegetation escaped the sweep of the wind and the subsequent scouring out by the deluge of water, and the island is practically a desert.

Perhaps the most Impressive feature, the Governor adds, is the absolute stillness that prevails not only through the absence of the familiar rustle of vegetation as the trade wind sweeps over it, but-also because of the absence of animal and even insect life. Birds, lizards, beetles, snakes, and, in fact, every form of animal life, seems to have been blown away or drowned out.

OBAMA VOWS UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL

JERUSALEM (AP) — Vowing eternal support for America’s top Mideast ally, U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday assured Israel of his personal commitment to its security and delivered a blunt warning to its foes that the United States has the Jewish state’s back.

Arriving in Israel on his first trip to the country as president, Obama told the Israeli people at an extravagant welcoming ceremony that “peace must come to the Holy Land” and that goal would not be achieved at Israel’s expense. U.S. backing for Israel will be a constant as the Middle East roils with revolution and Iran continues work on its nuclear program, he said.

“The United States is proud to stand with you as your strongest ally and your greatest friend,” Obama said, accepting profuse thanks from Israeli President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the tarmac at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport.

“Across this region the winds of change bring both promise and peril,” he said, calling his visit “an opportunity to reaffirm the unbreakable bonds between our nations, to restate America’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s security, and to speak directly to the people of Israel and to your neighbors.”

Seeking to alter a perception among many Israelis that his government has been less supportive of Israel than previous U.S. administrations, Obama declared the U.S.-Israeli alliance “eternal.”

“It is forever,” he said to applause as Israeli and U.S. flags fluttered in a steady breeze under clear, sunny skies
