If You Don’t Tamper With The Data, You Can Actually Learn Something About The Climate

This graph of US summer temperatures is a stunner. The most obvious feature is the incredibly hot 1930’s, which NASA and NOAA are working very hard to erase.

But beyond that, what catches my attention are the 50 year cycles of warming, followed by a decade of very sharp cooling. If the pattern holds true, we can expect to see a sharp decline in US temperatures over the next decade.

US Hurricane Frequency Down 29%

Climate experts told us that global warming would cause the US to be devastated by hurricanes.

US hurricane strikes peaked in the 1880’s, are down 29% since the 1870’s and currently the lowest on record.

[There was an error in the original graph which showed hurricanes down 23%. They are actually down 29%]

Missed It By That Much ……

Nobel Laureate Al Gore predicted the Arctic would be ice-free this summer. He only missed by the area of Europe and California combined.

The World’s Tallest Building

President Grover Cleveland dedicated the Washington Monument in 1888 to celebrate the father of our country. It was the world’s tallest building at the time, and an unbelievable engineering feat.

First thing Obama did as president, was go on a global apology tour.

What is completely clear in paleo data, is that the cart is pulling the horse – and the horse closely follows the movement of the cart about 800 years later.
