Arctic sea ice area will flat line in a few days, and is very close to the minimum for the summer.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

really? so soon? I hope you are right…that would still represent a substantial gain over last year.
Cooling polar regions are caused by CO2….the CO2 traps heat in the deep ocean that would normally go to the poles…..so obvious.

My Arctic forecast, it’s bloody cold in the winter and it ain’t so bloody hot in the summer at + 80ºN…………………… freaking bears – they love it though.
yep, lets see how all those north west and northern passage journeys go the next week or two. if last year and this year are signs of true recovery the melting season should shorten slightly while the refreeze extends .
next year will be the interesting one ,3 years growth on the trot would send the remaining members of the arctic sea ice forum over the edge 😉
Alarmists are being hoisted by their own petard. There is now only one thing they can point at. Rising CO2. Yes the trace gas is rising. And it does almost nothing except help plants grow faster. We can now cease all research into climate change myths. How about spending a few quid on a cure for Ebola and some water infrastructure in South Sudan? Not as chic as “climate” but far more useful.
During the past many thousands of years, CO2 has been hovering around base-line subsistence level, and we, us humans, are helping pull the Earth out of this very delicate balance point, the existence level for all life on earth.
We should be proud that we are doing so, not doing what is probably the most stupid thing humankind as ever done, in trying to restrict the emission of CO2. !
CO2 is the building block of all life on earth. When are these idiotic climate pseudo-scientists and alarmistas going to wake the **** up and realise this undisputed truth. !
Not only human would benefit the animal kingdom too.
For the money that has been wasted worldwide on this ridiculous CO2 scare, we could have built desalination plants all over the world to bring clean water to those without it. Sanitation and clean water are much, much more important than CO2.
One man’s opinion.
I agree. The wasted money could also be used to develop cleaner fracking technology, more efficient and less expensive LNG technology and build pipelines to minimize natural gas flaring, among a host of other beneficial energy technologies and investments.

I would like to see CO2 at between 1000 to 2000 ppm. ~ 1500 would be ideal

At that level all creatures would benefit.
More food for all, easier crop management from less land with much better yields.
I think Reggie went somewhere warmer for his holidays this year.
Aug 27-29 there maybe a slight up tick… Wind had been compacting some areas; winds looks like they will shift and uncompact for awhile starting ~27th
