Real Climate Science

Republicans need to do two things :

1. Run an advertising campaign showing Obama promising to make energy prices skyrocket and bankrupt the coal industry, over and over again. That will make his credibility plummet after today’s speech.
2. Pass legislation making it illegal to shut down a power plant, unless it poses an immediate threat to safety or there is 100% replacement power coming on line. Democrats won’t be able to vote against that without paying a very high price.

Both of those topics are going to backfire on him this year. The Arctic is looking like a complete blowout for alarmists, and US temps are well below normal for the year.

A leader with no training in science who insists that his science view is the only valid one, and who publicly denigrates anyone who disagrees with him.

Furthermore, he has failed to produce any evidence that his plan will have any meaningful impact on the climate.

Too bad Richard Feynman isn’t around now. Obama has taken America to new lows.

During the campaign, Obama kept telling us that he was president of all of America, but Romney only cared about 53%.

As soon as the election was over, he made it clear that he had no interest in the views of gun owners, Republicans, climate skeptics, or anyone who owns a telephone.

Non-believers in the geocentric universe threaten the order of our civilization.

I just got this message from the White House

When the Earth’s atmosphere fundamentally changes, we see more heat waves, droughts, wildfires, and floods.

Besides the fact that none of those things have actually occurred, they believe that any change makes the weather worse. That is the definition of a reactionary.

There is no scientific basis behind that statement. It is a purely religious belief that man is punished for sin. Change is just as likely to make things better.

Five years into his presidency, and less than a year after his second election, Obama suddenly has “no time to debate” global warming.  It is just too urgent.

He had plenty of time to debate destruction of the coal industry during the election cycle, but chose instead to pretend that he was a big supporter of coal production.
