A joint military operation targeted the home of an assault rifle owner in Yourcity today. The rifle, ammunition, high capacity magazines, computers and the potential terrorist were removed from the premises and taken to an undisclosed location. A handgun was also discovered and was taken away to the FBI crime labs for analysis. What is really frightening is that the perpetrator had no previous record of criminal activity, so a background check would not have stopped him from obtaining weapons.

America is a safer place this evening.

The EIA’s chart also shows how limited President Obama’s ability to deal with climate change really is. The reality is that the vast majority of the carbon emissions to come will be emitted by developing nations like China—and much of that will be due to coal. As we’ve reported here, the U.S. has reduced coal use and cut carbon emissions in recent year, even in the absence of comprehensive climate legislation, thanks to tougher air pollution regulations and cheap natural gas from fracking. Yet even as coal has waned in the U.S., it’s still being burned by the gigaton in other countries. We won’t beat climate change until we’ve beaten coal, but I’m not sure there’s much the United States can do to convince China or India to quit cheap energy—no matter the cost.

With military helicopters flying above her southeast Houston neighborhood, Frances Jerrals didn’t know what to think.

“When you see this, you think the worst. When you hear this, you think the worst,” Jerrals said.

And so, she passed along her concern.

“She told me ‘don’t come home it sounds like we’re in a war zone. Guns, shooting, helicopters flying around the house,'” Isaac Robertson Jr. said.

The U.S. Army along with other agencies took over the old Carnegie Vanguard High School near Scott and Airport. There were armed men in fatigues, plenty of weapons and what many thought were real live rounds

This is what Obama said when running for President.

“I believe in the Second Amendment. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away… But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don’t use that one because it just ain’t true. It ain’t true.”

What he meant was that he was going to have the Army do it for him.

No doubt Obama could have finished his round of golf, mobilized the army, and gotten them to Sandy Hook Elementary in less than 15 minutes.

The US elected a third world dictator, and is rapidly degenerating into a third-world country.

What I am doing is building up a Vmware Linux Virtual machine image (using Fedora 10) which contains all kinds of cool software like my USHCN code, ncview, RRTM, etc.

Everything is free, and all you will have to do is install Vmware Player, download the image file, and load it. It will open right up into a Linux session with instant access to critical climate software, including source code.

Then everyone will be able to see for themselves what our officially sanctioned government climate crooks experts are up to.

I expect to have a release out in the next week or two.
