“To believe climate change is real all you have to do is walk outside.”

They used to call July summer, now they call it global warming.

    103 heat? I thought ‘weather isn’t climate’?

And BTW, who says climate doesn’t change??

And oh ya, blah blah blah ‘think tanks funded by corporations’……..blah blah blah. Can’t find any distortion of truth in that one, now can you? /sarc/

Hey kids! Did you know Steven Schneider/Standford got a $100,000,000.00 grant from Exxon? And did you know David Suzuki gets funding from petroleum corporations?

What is really funny is the statement:
“To deny climate change you have to adjust data, make stuff up”
    Projection, anyone?
Of course, “leave out information that supports your cause” makes no sense at all.
Anyway, no one “denies climate change,” as we all know climate is always changing. What we deny is what they called it at first: anthropogenic global warming.

I’m not aware that anyone is denying climate change. I’m pretty sure, in fact, that we all pretty much agree that climate change is the norm rather than the exception. I, in particular, would be very mystified if the climate did not change. This nit seems not to understand the debate is about cause and if remediation is possible.

I’m willing to wait and watch the temps drop thanks to Gilliard’s valiant decision to shut down Australia’s economy.

What an idiot that cartoonist is. Classic Obama voter.

Clay Jones is the editorial cartoonist for The Free Lance-Star. In his spare time, he plays in the local rock band Corporate T-Shirt.

His photo shows he is a yuppie boy by day, at night a ‘rocker’ no doubt raging against the machine. Pansy. He hath becometh what he rebeleth against.

  5. John Silver says:

It’s October in July in northern Europe.

  6. Whatever nice cartoon I have to say

  7. Ivan says:

This is what a “walk outside” looked like 120 years ago:
THE HEAT IN THE UNITED STATES.
HUNDREDS OF DEATHS IN NEW YORK.
    BUSINESS AT A STANDSTILL.
Intense heat continues to prevail throughout the United States. In New York hundreds of deaths from sunstroke have occurred. Trains have in many cases been compelled to stop running, horses have perished in great numbers, and business generally has been brought to a complete stand-still.”

Now that it’s hot, weather is climate and the term “global warming” has been trotted out of mothballs. Next winter, when it’s cold, they will then dance back to their “climate change/global weirding /weather is not climate mode. They have all bases covered.

“To believe climate change is real all you have to do is walk outside.”

Yep! I have definitely altered the climate inside my house. Next issue please.

  10. Justa Joe says:

Where are the usual gaggle of trolls decrying and mocking this guy’s claims that weather is climate? I doubt that we’ll here anything from them as this guy is simpatico to their agenda. Is a 102 degree day late July that disturbing to libz? They’re taking on their own hypochondria.

  11. Grumpy Grampy ;) says:

I lived in a state where a heat wave was above 105 and we did work arounds for temperatures above 110 such as starting earlier and not working outside during the hottest part of the day.

  12. rw says:

Apparently this guy only goes outdoors in the summer.
