2. 09 Aug 1945: Nagasaki was destroyed
3. 24 Oct 1945: The UN was established
4. 1946: Fred Hoyle [1] laid the foundation for
_ a.) The SSM (standard solar model) of H-filled stars, and
_ b.) The Big Bang Model of initial H-creation from nothing
5. 1946: George Orwell moved to the Scottish island of Jura
