  1. Dave N says:

We had 15 years more than 15 years ago.. and we also had 10 years more than 10 years ago, etc etc.

I wonder how many years we have before they actually give up revising how many years we have left? Sadly, I think it will be way more than 15…

  2. Brian G Valentine says:

The author’s deeply seated and embarrassing sexual aberrations are not the fault of the rest of the world “refusing to take action”

  3. Sharpshooter says:

No, No! Fifteen years before we freeze our tushies off.

  4. Andy Oz says:

For 17 years nothing has happened. There has been no change. There has been no pain, except for those people freezing their asses off in North America and Siberia.

45 years of fear mongering bs:
“In ten years all important animal life in the sea will be extinct. Large areas of coastline will have to be evacuated because of the stench of dead fish.” -Paul Ehrlich, Earth Day 1970
“By the turn of the century [2000], an ecological catastrophe [will occur] which will witness devastation as complete, as irreversible as any nuclear holocaust.” -Mustafa Tolba, 1982, former Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program
“Entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of eco-refugees, threatening political chaos.” -Noel Brown, ex UNEP Director, 1989
“If Canada proceeds [with its tar sands oil development] sea levels would rise and destroy coastal cities. Global temperatures would become intolerable. Twenty to 50 percent of the planet’s species would be driven to extinction.” -James Hansen, 2012

    The truth:
“There is nothing wrong with the planet. The planet is fine.” -George Carlin

    • Gail Combs says:

The planet is more than fine. The plants have been very happy.
      NASA: Global Garden Gets Greener

…the last two decades of the twentieth century were a good time to be a plant on planet Earth. In many parts of the global garden, the climate grew warmer, wetter, and sunnier, and despite a few El Niño-related setbacks, plants flourished…

results show us not only how vegetation productivity has changed during two of the warmest decades in the record books, but they also reveal which of the many factors that influence plant productivity have been most important in those changes…

Changes in rainfall, temperature and sunlight between 1982 and 1999 increased the overall productivity of land plants by 6 percent….

“In the tropics, Nemani and his colleagues discovered that the increase in productivity was caused by lack of clouds and increased Sun exposure, while in the northern latitudes, it was mainly due to increased temperatures and to a lesser extent, water availability….

….a doubling of carbon dioxide could increase plant growth between 0 and 25 percent depending on resource limitations such as soil nutrition. With the 9 percent increase in carbon dioxide that occurred between 1980 and 2000, even the upper limit cannot explain the productivity increases in Amazon.” Clearly, carbon dioxide fertilization couldn’t be solely responsible for the change; climate change must be playing a role as well….

(The article of course tried to be as anti-human and negative as possible.)

He was very hopeful that mankind would be expunged, though. A deep-dyed misanthropist.

  6. Shazaam says:

I thought crack scientists were seismologists?

Maybe that explains why the models are 100% wrong.

  7. Brian H says:

Surely Steven meant to subliminally suggest “Cracked” or “Crackpot”?!
