Another Nevada Rancher Targeted For Ruin By The BLM Storm Troopers

A startling decision on government wrongdoing by a federal court in U.S. v. Estate of E. Wayne Hage gives credence to those who say that the federal government is engaging in a “war on the West” that is hurting rural communities. It is a stark reminder of how powerful our federal government is today and how it can ruin the lives and businesses of American citizens.

The 104-page opinion by U.S. District Court Judge Robert C. Jones on May 23 in Nevada tells a sordid and infuriating tale of a two-decades-long conspiracy among federal employees of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) of the Department of the Interior to deny the grazing rights of a Nevada ranching family, interfere with their water rights, and destroy their cattle business by scaring away their customers.

The case has long, complicated procedural history, but in essence, the federal government in 1991 refused to renew a grazing permit that the Hage ranch had held on federal lands for a very long time. The government also interfered with the Hage family’s water rights, which pre-dated the implementation of the grazing permit system in 1934, by restricting their access to various streams and wells. The BLM seized the Hages’ cattle and filed a civil trespass action against Hage, at one point even building fences around waterways to keep thirsty cattle from getting water, a scene right out of a 1930s Western movie.

  1. Gail Combs says:

This is not the first in a series of targeted hits on Americans by the US government.

A decade or more ago US farmers were targeted to scare us into complying with the World Trade Organization’s DEMAND that US livestock be tagged and tracked. That targeting has not stopped. http://nonais.org/ has been following the US government vs Farmer “wars” since 2006.

    Henshaw Incident
<==== this is very similar to the current incidents out west. SWAT teams used, livestock killed and in this case with ZERO evidence of any wrong doing.

Then there was the Antelope Valley land clearances that are EXACTLY like what is happening out west. Here are the news articles:

After almost a decade of following this abuse of power and betrayal I have no use for those in D.C.

I think this article sums up the situation nicely: America’s Ruling Class

as does Jo Nova’s Husband’s article on the Climate Coup by the Regulating Class.

I wish the progressive rank and file would get it through their thick skulls they are not supporting “Social Justice” but a return to serfdom and subjugation by the very people they say they revile.

      The ‘Innocents’ Clubs’
“…During the 1920’s and most of the 1930’s Münzenberg played a leading role in the Comintern, Lenin’s front for world-wide co-ordination of the left under Russian control. Under Münzenberg’s direction, hundreds of groups, committees and publications cynically used and manipulated the devout radicals of the West….Most of this army of workers in what Münzenberg called ‘Innocents’ Clubs’ had no idea they were working for Stalin. They were led to believe that they were advancing the cause of a sort of socialist humanism. The descendents of the ‘Innocents’ Clubs’ are still hard at work in our universities and colleges. Every year a new cohort of impressionable students join groups like the Anti-Nazi League believing them to be benign opponents of oppression…”
      (wwwDOT)heretical.com/miscella/munzen.html

Kent Clizbe, who commented here briefly, wrote the book Willing Accomplices: How KGB Covert Influence Agents Created Political Correctness and Destroyed America

That book goes into the nitty gritty of how Münzenberg’s plan was put into play here in the USA and ultimately gave us “Political Correctness” “Social Justice” and the hatred of the USA that is so evident on US campuses and in the US media.

Interesting the grazing permit system came into existence under progressive hero FDR.

We are ripe for a Waco disaster, or something even far worse.

    • Gail Combs says:

Given the DHS has enough ammo for 20 years of a hot war within the US borders, I am very afraid they are pushing for a real take-over.

We are in a catch-22 because they have more than one game plan.
#1. Push some Americans into finally taking a stand and then use that to justify completely trashing the 2nd Amendment and that is the end of any hope for a reasonable government.

#2. Completely bankrupting the USA plus having the US-Dollar lose world reserve currency status. At this point the IMF/World Bank comes in and takes over the government and we transition into #3. This is the reason Iceland tossed the B@stards in jail and told the bankers to pay their own gambling debts.

#3. Having gotten rid of American strategic grain reserves, a really bad set of harvests around the world PLUS the 25% unemployment rate PLUS hyperinflation will be like touching a match to dry tinder. The inner cities will go up like a bomb and make the 1992 Los Angeles Riots look like a walk in the park. The USA will not be the only nation affected either.

Martial law will be declared and the United Nations Peace Keeping forces called in. No doubt new governments will also be installed with “New Constitutions” written along the lines mandated by the UN.

No matter what everyone will wonder what the heck happened.

      • Brian H says:

Absent the US contribution, the UN Peacekeeping forces are a damp squib.

      • methylamine says:

        Gail–I always enjoy your comments.

#3 looks not just accidental any more; they’re decimating our ability to feed ourselves, killing (often literally) small farmers, destroying valuable agricultural land with herbicides and pesticides, infesting the genetic code with GMO’s, and industrializing food production.

That centralization will serve them well–they’re planning an American Holodomor.

As the ineffable bastard Kissinger said, “Control the food, control the people.”

  5. Justa Joe says:

This strong arm Federal raid of the Bundy ranch is related to the climate change hoax. The vehicles used for Harry Reid’s attempted annexation of the Bundy Ranch are the dual subterfuges of The endangered species act and the AGW hoax. Funny how the climate trolls support the crushing of private individual citizens on the behalf of BIG govt.

  6. NikFromNYC says:

“The Constitution is not a living organism. It’s a legal document, and it says what it says and doesn’t say what it doesn’t say.” – Antonin Scalia, 2014 (Supreme Court Justice)

    • Gail Combs says:

Thar does not mean the people who sit in the Supreme Court do not twist the Constitution to mean what there puppet masters want it to say.

The reinterpretation of the Commerce Clause and the reinterpretation of our right Right to a Trial by Jury are just two examples.

      • Gail Combs says:

Gag, I still have not learned to spell….

        • methylamine says:

          LOL–it totally discredits you! Racist!
          🙂
Don’t worry I’ll still enjoy your comments Gail.

      • NikFromNYC says:

That sudden SWAT team Drug War civil forfeitures of entire estates of Bundy type of ranches are civil instead of criminal, all under the usual oppressive verbal threats of real criminal charges, *after* the civil law theft of legal funds that would afford victims a non-state lawyer, is another persistent and mostly unreported injustice. The old school mexia wants to report no victims unless they are racial minorities, I guess, or abducted little blonde girls nobody outside of immediate family really cares about. But just wait until Obama’s dictatorship is handed over in turn to a crazy ass libertarian. Will it ever really happen?

  7. Charles Nelson says:

I find it amusing that people who grabbed land off it’s original inhabitants/occupants i.e. Indian tribes should whine so when someone else grabs it off them. Working on the basis that the N.American Indians grabbed the land of the Clovis People before them… I confidently predict that at some point in the future someone will grab the land from the Federal Government.
Let’s at least try and be consistent here.

    • Gail Combs says:

Get real, It is 2014 not 1840.

Past events do not excuse criminals in our present government or are you all for going back to the serfdom and slavery that permeated most of written history?

If so you are on the side of our corrupt government.

      • Charles Nelson says:

I’m the one who is ‘real’.
‘Real’ is about power, in whichever era you chose, past present or future.
The occupants of that land have been displaced by more powerful forces since the dawn of time, and time isn’t about to end anytime soon. Some day the ‘federal government of the USA’ will be a forgotten myth. That’s ‘real’.

Steve et al – you gotta love this

Quote of the Day – PRICELESS !!! Quote of the day by Dianne Feinstein…

Dianne Feinstein: “All vets are mentally ill in some way and government should prevent them from owning firearms.”

Yep, – she really said it on Thursday in a meeting in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee… and the quote below from the LA Times is priceless. Sometimes even the L.A. Times gets it right.

Kurt Nimmo: “Senator Feinstein insults all U.S. Veterans as she flays about in a vainattempt to save her anti-firearms bill.”

Quote of the Day from the Los Angeles Times:

“Frankly, I don’t know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I’m not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we’re Number One. There’s no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on ‘Macbeth’. The four of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don’t know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words.”

    Columnist Burt Prelutsky,

    Los Angeles Times

Be sure to forward this to all of the “mentally ill” vets you know.

I do children’s entertainment for kids parties and at churches. At one event a volunteer helper was recent retired Secret Service. His buddies who were still working told him that ALL retired military, FBI, Secret Service, CIA… are on the DHS domestic terrorist watch list. Therefore I am not surprised this idea was floated.

Unfortunately these ideas once floated do not go away. They just keep being repeated until it becomes ‘Common Knowledge’ This is how they got people to believe it was farmers who were responsible for the food poison caused by the big food processing plants. This lead to the Food Safety Modernization Act that now allows the World Trade organization in conjunction with the UN’s OIE and FAO to regulate US farms.

    • Gail Combs says:

Dianne Feinstein is borrowing this method from Stalin BTW. His KGB agents all had ‘Expiration Dates’ once they had served their purpose they knew too much and therefore were shot.

Perhaps her next idea is all retired military should be placed in mental institutions where they can be ‘disappeared’ Another favorite trick of Stalin. (I have heard from two separate retired military medical personnel this has already been done.)

      • darrylb says:

Well, I do not know whether I am proud or concerned about the idea of being on the list.

As I said once before, Gail, I keep learning things from you. If ever you wanted to get in contact by email let me know. I am asking for a very selfish reason. I am betting you might have information that would prove to be valuable and very interesting for a book I am writing.
Actually, you just seem to have a very broad and rare information background

Slightly OT, but has ANYONE seen or heard from a Benghazi survivor?

        • rw says:

I don’t recall reading that Stalin used the mental hospital gambit. At least I don’t recall anything like this during the period of the Great Terror and WWII. I think it started in the post-Stalin era, but I’ve never looked into the matter carefully.

  9. rw says:

One thing that most people who comment on this site seem not to understand is that democracy is essentially just a set of tools to fix problems, particularly problems involving power and influence. It didn’t abrogate the human condition; it just gave people a recourse for dealing with tyranny and abuse and the like. Note that, according to the article cited, this family finally got some redress. So the system worked – in the only sense that one can hope for in this world (a world built up with infinite slowness from the sociobiological muck out of which we came). If you don’t like it, find another world – or continue the building process.
