Climate Science Scrabble – By Rearranging The Funding, Cooling Becomes Warming

The winter of 1977 was very similar to the winter of 2014 in the US. It was warm in Alaska and the west coast, and very cold in the midwest and the eastern US.

The jet stream was positioned very similarly during winter 1977, as it was this winter.

But what was different from winter 2014, is that scientists blamed it on global cooling and the coming ice age instead of global warming and the coming meltdown.

Yes but as the UN-IPCC now knows, back then ‘unprecedented’ had a whole different meaning.

    Cooling becomes Warming
    CAGW Drought becomes CAGW flooding

One day, free thinking psychologists will present papers on CAGW dementia.
One day, 7 billion free thinking people will realise how a small number of nasty sociopaths set this up.

“Doctor” Gifford Miller in the global cooling video.
Same one who co-authored the CU Study last year!

I blame Baffin Island for confusing the poor chap. Whether it was the arctic cold, the guano dust, the moss spores or even the pre trip LSD supplier, there is no doubt that something effected his cognitive abilities. We should all pray to Gaia for his healing and redemption.

great find andy. (at the 5:33 mark btw). interesting quote: “in 1972 the ice never melted that summer” . !!!! then he goes on to say that the Inuits he was speaking to said only their fathers father had ever seen something like that! now we have manbearpig in a following article above telling us the ice will be all gone in 2 weeks. priceless!

  3. Psalmon says:

Don’t forget that California had one of it’s worst droughts ever in 1977 also. So parallel it’s obvious.

  4. geran says:

The video is perfect “climate science”–all drama, emotion, and NO science!

  5. Pathway says:

Here at the upper end of the Colorado Plateau, 1977 was the driest year ever recorded. We were all on water rationing. This year the snow pack is above normal and the annual rainfall is right at normal. Just goes to show that climate is a chaotic system.

  6. Andy DC says:

They better go back to cooling!

  7. M. Kjonaas says:

That is OK. Science and politics are the both the same thing, aren’t they?

  8. Gary H says:

How about 1938 – there about?
US temps had plateaued – perhaps cooled a bit – following a several decades long warming cycle (seems a bit similar to today).

oh look there’s that pesky jetstream again!

Great find Steve, the observations back up the high – pre ’79 – satellite ice records you repeatedly highlight and the alarmists conveniently ignore.
