Different Types Of Officers

Some officers in any army want to win the war, and bring it to an end. Others enjoy the war, and want it to continue indefinitely. They don’t like the other kind.

Generals in the Pentagon love wars. Generals who have to be under fire are a lot less enthusiastic.

  2. You left out the generals who just want to kill the other bastards, war or no war. Actually, they’re probably all enlisted men, so never mind. 😉

And some officers like to relive the past in Jew hate:
Jews Ordered To Register In Eastern Ukraine

Jews in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk where pro-Russian militants have taken over government buildings were told they have to “register” with the Ukrainians who are trying to make the city become part of Russia, according to Israeli media.

Jews emerging from a synagogue say they were handed leaflets that ordered the city’s Jews to provide a list of property they own and pay a registration fee “or else have their citizenship revoked, face deportation and see their assets confiscated,” reported Ynet News, Israel’s largest news website.

Donetsk is the site of an “anti-terrorist” operation by the Ukraine government, which has moved military columns into the region to force out militants who are demanding a referendum be held on joining Russia.

You mean the illegal Kiev government, sending tanks against their own citizens? When Ukraine military reached the city of Kramatorsk they joined the protesters. Of course they didn´t want to fight their own countrymen!
Jew hate is more likely to find among the Svoboda Party, of which some are members of the illegal cout détat government. Svoboda fought on the Nazi side against Russia during WW2.

General and Majors always seem so unhappy unless they got a war:

There is a good reason. During peace time you get ‘Passed-over’ twice and you are kicked out. During war you get promoted fast and the further up the chain the more money and the less chance of going to the front lines.

(I was an officer’s wife during the ‘Nam era.)

      • Eric Simpson says:

Right. But no one wants WWIII. And thanks Gail for your comment and outstanding analysis on the earlier thread on that divisive lead anchor issue that I won’t mention. But it reinforces my sense that you would be a hugely valuable asset at hotair, for sanity and boldness on that divisive issue (most people are very timid about engaging with the extremists) and on climate change. To really affect these issues we need to step out of the skeptic blogs to where contact with the real world is made, and hotair is the most popular conservative blog, and solidifying conservatives in skepticism in the USA is perhaps the most important immediate task for us; after that goal is secure, move on to getting independents and the rest.

Well, guess what, out of the blue there was an open registration today, but the servers failed they say, so they rescheduled the open registration for THURSDAY APRIL 24th.

Also, I forgot to say, I hope that the officer of note ended up unscathed by the whole affair. Because even officers sometimes end up biting the dust.

I wonder if this would not apply to the “Climate” war also….
